One guy posts something a friend sent to him (that no one can really verify) and suddenly it becomes a fait accompli. With the diameter of the planet mode needing to be quite a bit bigger for a 24" bot, I would think there is no way the larger wings could fit it.

 

Zeta teased their Unicron just as HasLab was crowdfunding theirs, Hasbro turned their attention to Zeta, and Zeta immediately just vanished and weren't heard from for a long time. When their Unicron resurfaced much later, it wasn't even sold under the Zeta brand. So, I am EXTREMELY doubtful that Zeta would start teasing a new version of Unicron at the same time as the HasLab Unicron starts making news due to review videos and due to finally shipping.

 

I just bit the bullet on this guy. Scale doesnt bother me since it'll never be correct, so might as well have one that fits reasonably on my shelf.

 

I bought both unicron’s. I am so pissed the scale is off with my masterpieces. They looked so much bigger on my phone

Hope not. Cell is a pain in the arse at normal size. Oversized, it’d just be a suicide machine.

my hope is for one of the ballsy “4th party” upscalers to turn haslab Unicron into a 48” tall bot with better panel hiding in the transformation. Won’t happen, especially with today’s shipping issues, but it’d be nice. Cell is an ok toy, just looks way too soft and isn’t remotely fun to transform.

 

Why would Hasbro care at this point? They've made their money, sales are no longer in question.

From what I can tell, most if not all retailers are sending you 2 boxes when you order. A box with the main figure (without a head) and a box with the head and wings.

 

Check with your retailer. Mostly sold as a set.
