I’ve been trying to read the thread so I’m sorry if it’s been explained already, but what’s the secret to pegging in the back hooks on the side of the vehicle mode? It feels like I need to make it a couple millimeters shorter by tucking the legs in further, but I can’t figure out how to do that.

EDIT: Figured it out. In vehicle mode, his fists should be oriented so the silver knuckles are facing inwards (basically as they are in a default robot mode pose). I had them flipped 180 degrees and that messed up the way the rest of it fit together.

 

I just opened my copy. Easily figure of the year material. Not just legends figure of the year but just figure of the year.

It is a impressed toy, though i not too fond of the design or the character itself.
But knowing IF never make a reissue, it sure a troublesome feeling to pass on this.

Agreed. I see some things on deck that I know I’ll love (MMC Star Convoy for example) but it’s going to be hard to beat this one in every aspect. It’s not just a fantastic toy but it also represents one of my favorite comic characters really well so it has a lot of “life” to it.

And yes, a Powermaster Prime like this from IF would be AMAZING.

 

Can someone post a pic of Ambus with Calidus and/or Hot Flame? I want to see how he scales and I have both of those already.

I wouldn't worry. I ordered from baba, still waiting for shipping too. They told me they had a limited first batch and have to wait for second. C'est la vie.

 

Send them a message. I preordered all the way back in August so they didn’t ship until I reminded them. They hadn’t sent it because my PayPal address didn’t match my shipping address.

If Optimus Optimus gets a repaint/retool, I’d love to see IF update its hands to be fully articulated like Magnus. Some of the best hands on any figure I’ve owned (good at holding weapons too) and OpOp’s are just as big.
