I really like what they are doing TBH. They are (to me at least) a very nice update to the toys we all loved. If they decide to do giftsets of their previously release combiners, I will for sure get them. They seem to be engineering marvels albeit some issues.

Just got my Smokey a little bit ago. I will attest. Great figure as usual.


I did have one issue. I hope it is an isolated issue. QC 33.

While moving/transforming the engine block I found the hinge pin fell out into my lap and the engine block came off the arm. I guess the pin wasn't... pinned in place? No big deal as long as the block is tabbed in place. I just threw it back in the holes and seems fine otherwise. Keep an eye out for it during your transformations.

 

Does anyone have the same problem with Smokey’s hips if you move it just pop out or is there something i mist that lock it down?

My came without a green QC sticker weird

 

People lose their mind if every gun doesn't have alt mode storage, not sure why it would be ok for an 18 inch skeleton to just be shoved aside when in alt mode.

My two cents:

If this were just some thigh pieces and a chest like the Zeta combiners, I’d be more than happy with the combiner parts not transforming into anything. If the FT Superion kibble doesn’t transform, I’d be more than happy with that.

But Menasor isn’t like other combiners - he’s a giant robot who wears cars as armour. This isn’t just kibble - it’s virtually a robot in it’s own right.

I don’t want a giant Action Master just lying around the place, I like my robots to actually transform. So long as this thing is stable in combiner mode, I think the least they can do is make it transformable.

I really dislike not having gun storage in alt mode. I mean, just give me a place to put it on somewhere, those who don't like the placement can still just leave it off.
