I'm buying this guy from whichever place gets him first in the US. Seems like whenever I pre order, I end up buying from a seller whose stock gets delayed.

 

The Chosen Primes listing says “arriving soon” which for them usually means either that week or the following.

 

Even though I do really like the head sculpt, I would be so down for if FH makes an animation accurate upgrade kit for his head like they did with Power Baser. Still really excited.

 

He does feel pretty heavy in hand - I picked him up first thing this morning and did a double-take!

To clarify, I don’t know that the cracks were CAUSED by the angle, that pressure may have just worsened what was there, but as long as you’re careful with the mid torso hinge to flip out the head, and open the chest flaps but don’t push them back to lock them into the upper angled tabs, he looks fine and you shouldn’t worsen any cracks that might be there.

I'm really enjoying Naval Commander so far and have transformed him a couple more times since the vid. I think I've been luckier than @Peaugh so far as I don't appear to have any cracks on mine, but have been really careful with it since FH's announcement too. I'm very much digging the combined mode most of all.

Watched both Peaugh's and Sixo's reviews. This bot looks awesome! I'm glad I have this preordered.

 

First off, just wanted to say I've watched your videos for well over 12 years now (ROTF Prime is one of the earliest I recall of yours), so thanks for still pumping out the same quality. Second, what was that Autobot sticker you put on him? I've never seen a raised one like that, how much do they cost? It really rounds the figure out

It’s a 3D one from ToyHax. I also have some Decepticon versions as well. I honestly do not recall how long ago I got them, they’re in my little container with all of my ToyHax labels. I’m not sure if they are still in production.

Your review was awesome too. At first I found you were a bit rough with the figure, but I am glad you did as you can really show what the figure can take.

 

Having seen this a couple times now, what exactly do you feel I was too rough with? Nothing in the video was forced or manhandled in the moment, I’m just curious which bits came across as “being rough.”

Originally I was only interested in the base Prime. The combined mode of Armada manner looked interesting to me.

after watching Peaugh’s video, I’m actually a bit underwhelmed by the base Prime, but am surprised by how much I like the combined mode.   It’s really well done.

 

Im going to take the plunge after watching Peaugh's and Sixo's review. Hopefully my copy wont have any hinge cracks. And he's staying in super bot mode after lol

 

It's just that I am probably too careful with my figures because the way you fold panels or tab things in and out looks rough to me. But that's a good thing in the end, so please don't take it wrong.
