SS38 is arguably the pinnacle of the (non-86) Studio Series, so this would be a welcome addition to the MPM line.

 

They should troll and put out an MPM '86 optimus prime. I'd get a kick out of that.

There a quite a few great, fully transforming versions already out there, with some having amazing paintwork to boot. Why wait for the official version?

Then why did they have a hard time getting Dino licensed? Licensing isn’t a simple “we have money” situation, some companies are just assholes and in some situations it’s too much of a hassle to get a license.

I’m assuming he’ll just be compatible with one or both of the MP trailers—not ideal but ultimately a good solution I’d think.

 

MPM -04 was compatible with MP-10’s trailer, the most common trailer state side, and given it’s still under Hasbro, I think we can count on it being MP-10 trailer compatible more than the other one.

 

I'll wait for the inevitable ko, with vastly improved paint at half the price.

I literally said in the post that you quoted that IF the companies would play ball, Hasbro could get the license and proceeded to say that Dino, Sideways, and Dreadbot are the only potential hang ups. I mean come on guys we literally have the studio series where Hasbro is willing to pay for things like pagani on a DELUXE
