I haven't been to Walmart recently, but I can honestly tell all of you that Target is constantly rotating their stock in Chaska and Shakopee. In the last couple weeks, I have gotten BW Megs, Cyclonus, 86' Scourge, '86 Hot Rod. I've seen a crap ton of Ghostbuster Crossover and Optimus Primal too, but haven't grabbed those.
Awe crap... I miss Hot Comics, there is one in Jordan, but it is pretty bare. Living this far out can suck sometimes. Comics have been a pain since Shinders killed their business.
Yeah I'm not sure where else I'd go for comics if Hot Comics wasn't nearby. Minds Eye was across the street but they shut down (and maybe moved) at some point in the past year.
I miss the New Hope location. I get WHY they moved, but the new location's parking is such a pain and no longer within walking distance of Frankies. Otherwise, I know the Richfield store has way more toys, just that it's a longer drive and I am lazy. XP
On the topic of expressing disappointment over a comic shop moving.... I know this is old news and all, but I was shocked and disappointed when I moved back to Minneapolis 15 months ago and discovered my favorite comic shop had moved. HOT COMICS RICHFIELD IS MY FAVORITE COMIC SHOP. It’s been my favorite for years. ....I am sure there were very logical, smart, financially-responsible and business-savvy reasons for moving across the street into the Hub shopping center. But holy hell, I absolutely hate the Hub shopping center. There’s always too many cars driving all crazy through there, and way too many weirdos walking around screaming at each other. I hate it. I still love you, Richfield Hot Comics, and will love you forever. But man.... I just don’t like visiting as much anymore.
From what I recall Richfield Hot Comics had to move as the Army Recruiting Center that was in the same building as them wanted the space Hot Comics was using because their space had a rear entrance for in case some nutjobs tried shooting up the place and they had an escape. That's what I heard anyway.
With Unicron shipping soon, consider me in the market for any CW/PotP/UW figures you may need to unload to make room. G2 sets, FunPub Impactor/Bluestreak, UW Grand Scourge, upgrade kits...
Man, go figure the only weeks I don't drive up to Champlin, they have the '86 deluxes I'm looking for. Nothing at Bloomington Target tonight. Also, in 3p news, had a good haul. IF City Commander Final Armor is great. Is a legends class still legends if he's voyager size? SUPER poseable. In that vein, MMC Optus Plexus is rad. I still think I like Striker Manus more as far as really great Optimuses go, but he's up there. Purple Potato is also awesome if you're looking for a fantastic shockwave with an alt mode we will probably never see again. I also got that DNA SS Devy kit. If you're on the fence about it, let me help - don't. 4-legged mode is still basically not happening, and the set turns his torso into a floppy, unconnected mess. He does look a bit better standing upright and the new parts do have some aesthetic appeal, but someone needs to make something that helps with the chest and stablizes the arms for 4-legged mode to be worthwhile.
Anyone have a spare Siege Mirage they're willing to sell? My copy decided to break at that little tab that keeps his upper torso connected to his lower torso. Gotta love how all that keeps him together is one tiny tab.

If anyone sees the set of the 4 Walmart “Retro-boxed” Headmasters all together at one Walmart- would you kindly set them aside for me or pick them up and I will drive to meet you this weekend. I will pay you an even $100 if that works for you?
