Ultraman-like superhero comes out of the computer and defeats the monsters with the help of kid, who becomes “Gridman”, and his friends, who can “power up” Gridman. the next day everything resets and no one remembers what happened except for kid and his friends. Repeat for 13 episodes, sprinkle in some mystery about what’s really going on, etc etc. Gridman and his power ups have a lot of elements that line up with the Trivers mecha and Vers-riser add-ons, so I think it’s a neat idea for a crossover.

Not meaning to argue, but I think they would have years of figures planned out already. They simply pad the exciting releases with filler repaints and dianaut sets and stuff. So if they have six great ideas there's two to three years already lined up. I for one would be happy to stay living in the current "universe" of mechs and waruder, just keep innovating with fun playsets and figures. No need for getting too creative with dinobots and carbots or wizards or crossovers. I'm guessing it's an unpopular opinion here but I actually think there's enough Waruder for a bit... with all the creativity available with what's out already you can do a ton. With the exception of the green Gigantor of course...
I doubt that. At the least they still have re-do's of the armored convoy and the insecticons and dinobots they could do.
Hehe you make a good point But I still haven't even swallowed the Triverse pill yet! I've only got: DA-01EX DA-06 DA-33 DA-37 (with a pre-order for DA-65 and DA-64) If I jump on the Triverse train I'd need at least the main 4 figures (Dasher, Jetter, Digger, Rambler) and then probably Risers 1 and 2. There's goes like $1000

Yeah I've heard they've been doing a lot of cancellations lately... If you mean DA-51, I think there might be one or two on ebay for around AU$200 (US$150).
We did this some time ago and also sent an email with a reason for the cancellation. We are very sorry about it, but our normally very reliable supplier simply made a mistake that cost us our order.
The functionality of this makes me think that there's an increased possibility of Powered Convoy style system for the V-Max cab. Based on TogeAtama's translation of the Diaclone magazine it sounds like they definitely have more stuff they want to do. A ground vehicle-centric DiaBattles would be cool. I'm also interested in more power suits but only if we get new accessories for them; I don't want more of the same claws, guns and rifle. And to reiterate an old point, I'd still like a Soldier-sized Waruder unit with a flying creature design so we have another mold for at that size.
