Neat but I'm not a fan of the evergreen designs. I've got the old one from USAopoly that uses art from the dreamwave era so that'll do for me. Not that it really matters much - can't even remember the last time I played monopoly.

Umm...why are there only 8 spaces per side of the board? Nearly $40 for only 4/5 of an actual monopoly game?

 

Honestly this Monopoly set is cooler than I originally assumed it would be. May end up having to pick this one up.

Next time the wife decides to sentence me to a game of monopoly i am going to make her aware that this version is more humane.

I like boardgames, never been a fan of Monopoly though but I have one or maybe two other Transformers Monopoly games because crazy transformer hoarder mentality, I wonder if it is the same locations on the board in this as in the older ones? I cant be botherd to check that up though.
Such an odd fit anyway, I also have two Transformers Risk and one Stratego game which fit the franchise much better than Monopoly.
I still dream of a great original Transformers board game.

No, I mean I want a great modern Transformers boardgame to be released, not that there is one as far as I know.
The Transformers card game is really nice though.
Then there is the Beast Wars mutating card game and the Armada skirmish from 20 years ago or so but I havn't played them.

Those are way cooler. I dig the G1 bots more & I like the fact the board has 10 squares per side instead of 8 squares per.

Hmmm Transformers board games, eh? I DO have the original 1985 Rock em Sock em Optimus Prime vrs Megatron "game"   But talking more seriously, your gonna wanna check out these G1 monopoly boardgame links these guys just showed me. they look official!

Yes it was! Thanks for showing me if you got the 2007 & 2009 sets you'd essentially have peter/diecast pieces of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jazz, Ironhide, Grimlock,. Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Ravage, & Shockwave. With doubles of everyone but Shockwave, Ravage, Grimlock & Ironhide. That's the selling point to me fosur!  

 

I just found out there was apparently a 30th anniversary edition released also in 2014 (very different from the 2007/09 version I have which features DW Art). The 2014 version has mostly original series boxart. I wonder exactly how many official TF Monopolies there have been? TF Wiki only has an article about the 07/09 version.

*Edit, also just saw a Special Collectors edition from Comic-Con in 2017 Wow! This one looks amazing, I no longer believe I have the best version.
