That may be (I'm sure you're right), but it always takes BBTS months to get these after those that order directly get them. I'm probably doing BBTS as well on this guy. Haven't ordered yet, but I'm checking the stock on a regular basis to see if I need to.

But I'm puzzled- what AOE BB of that design ever got made? I remember a company had one coming that was supposed to have been canceled (unless a few proto types exist and you managed to get one).

 

Comicave bumblebee! You might remember they released their aoe prime and teased a bee in 2014 but never got made and was the one that got cancelled...but no!
they made it in limited quantity in 2020 but scaled it so big it actually Rivaled their prime in height
So In a weird way their bee is perfect to scale with 3a prime whereas the official tlk 3a bee is too big as you can see when they are lined up

Hmmmm. Frustrating that there was little or no news coverage on this. I'd been waiting/watching until it was announced canceled. Glad it's out now! ShowZ is sold out and was $70 cheaper than the next best price I found. $260 would have been an automatic yes. Have to think a little on the next price (especially on eBay from an unknown seller in China (although with lots of good feedback, which does count for something).

I wish he had the AOE unmasked movie head. Pretty sure that's the movie head from every other movie. With the battle mask on he looks like Stinger (which isn't the worst thing ever) wonder if we'll get a stinger repaint? (hopefully with Stinger wheel blades)

How tall is that Comicave AOE Bumblebee?!

 

Yes I was suprised to see him randomly on Instagram last year and I investigated and got him off AliExpress
He is smaller than premium bee movie bee and is around 35 cm but their prime wAs 38!
This boy is still heavy with alloys even more so than their prime so it is more expensive than their prime was. The unmasked head he comes with is unfortunately bad and not accurate but I love the stinger mask. It completes the ninja look.

It was almost stealth released...maybe their license with hasbro expired and they went ahead anyway!?

I’m still hoping for a Masterpiece of TLK Bumblebee but I wouldn’t object to an MPM of AOE Bee since his design looks so good

 

I’m a huge fan of the aoe bee. Just love the ninja inspired look.
