The one thing really annoys me is the fact that you could only get Unicron for 600(or 650?) When you live in the US.
For the initial US price I might bought it.
But I live in Europe, so price will be significantly more. ( 800+ for sure)
Haslab could have made some selling hubs on all continents, so that all non US people also could have bought one.
I know a UK seller carried them, but price was way more than 600 dollars.

I'm just looking forward to seeing photos of people taking the planet mode completely off the robot and showing them next to each other. Some third party will probably even back an interior support beam and extra outer ring just for it. Toys like Cheetor use to get a lot slack for having 2 of the cheetah legs hanging off the robot back but we're here now.

That’s obvious, given what they’ve done so far.

Keep in mind that they're all still shipped from China, so it doesn't seem to make a hell of a difference, except that Hasbro once again told international customers to sod off.

But it's fine, I never found anything but a single case of Snapdragons from wave 2 of Earthrise, so I guess they don't even want my money at this point.

Would be very interesting to see if it could be done.

2 birds with one stone as well hopefully if able to eliminate the gaps from the rings and maybe add electronics.

Majority of this is going to be the fact that the UK number includes VAT of 20% whereas headline US doesnt include sales taxes. Think Kapow were including shipping too? Dont know about that on the US side specifically but assume not given offering free shipping across UK hardly comparable to across US.

...except when they offered free replacements of faulty Star Wars AT-TE legs, an item that I believe was priced in the hundreds.

Look, the chances of getting them to do anything by writing in probably aren't great, but they're a heck of a lot higher than just grumbling.

At the very least, perhaps they will think twice about trying this crap again.

Something else that makes it more likely for Hasbro create replacement parts is the damage to future profits. This isn't just a case of buying something at retail with a defect - this was a crowdfund that fucked up. Unless they do something to address it, I guarantee this experience will make people more hesitant to pay up front for future Haslab projects. It certainly has for me. If you develop a shitty reputation in crowdfunding you're basically done for.

Yeah but those were faulty, being a different colour isn't faulty and they can just not read the letters if it happens again and Takara's in on this one they don't even issue replacement parts when MP's are broken in the box.

Australasian collectors represent. Who did you order through?

    Ebay:
**or be available for anyone not in the USA. See next quote...

610 British pounds. 800 to 900 USD depending on exchange rate.

And that was a fluke because of the lack of Hasbro Pulse selling to anyone other that USA. It's like we don't exist...

Well, John Warden didn't reply to my tweet yet, hardly surprising! I'll send an email at some point too.

For those citing the colours may vary argument... the context of that was clearly that the blue might change shade, the yellow might change shade, the painted apps might be altered, etc. There's no way on earth that that disclaimer was even remotely saying that what's yellow might be blue etc. They are on record as saying that the colour deco sheet was used to create the marketing model, and that was clearly used to create the instructions too.

This was either a major oversight that should be corrected, or a deliberate colour choice made late in the day that should have been announced.

Yeah and many of us had to consider the uncertainty regarding brexit as well. Europeans would have been looking at around $1000 in the end.
