Yeah, in addition to giving us the option of getting replacement parts, so that people who bought the first version can have a more stable combiner without having to resort to buying a new figure.

So I'm thinking with what they showed and what they haven't showed, we'll get a figure in Sept/Oct and another Move/Dec. Think' they'll miss out n ta third before CNY and release aver three moths after that starting in late march. So March, June, and Sept. So if why're real quick maybe a full calendar year. If they're not then a year and a half.

I base this off of the crap I find in my yard. My neighbor's dog's anus has yet to be wrong in these matters.

 

Well from what we’ve heard from MMC folks on production schedule, usually takes about 2 years for a figure to get made. We’ll definitely see more of Defensor throughout the year, but I’d expect the actual full team to be completed some time next year.

 

I really hope that they make a Superion and Menasor set to go with this one. And maybe even a Devastator set! Though I wouldn't mind not getting one, since we already have Generation toy's Devastator set, which are absolutely fantastic

 

Between moving to a new place, and making up lost hours at work, I've realized that I have neglected to post my musings on Probus!
Out of the entire team, I will openly say that brawl was my least anticipated of the set. Maybe its the backpack. Maybe its was the fact that his G1 toy was an underwhelming affair by just about any standard. Maybe its because literally anything about his character evades my memory like an awkward acquaintance spied at a grocery store.
I honestly expected to transform brawl a handful of times, before placing him into leg mode for all of eternity.
I have never been happier to be wrong about a figure
I can't put Probus down. The magnificent transformation that is a fresh take on a pretty standard conversion, combined with the figuarts tier articulation and the shear fucking HEFT (He is in fact, the biggest boi) has made Probus my favorite of the set by a landslide.

I'm also very pleased with him, and I like the way you can put the turret on different positions when he's in tank mode to whichever way you like best.

 

I really love him as well. My only shame is that the knees aren't ratcheted, and a bit loose for my taste

 

Yeah, I hope they do all the combiners. I'd kill for an OX-style Menasor that isn't a couple cars stuck on a $300 trailer that turns into a mostly-complete Menasor. Plus everyone fussing about how Assaultus is so much shorter than their other combiners can rest easy if they have a set of same-size MMC combiners.

 

I mean, MMC’s wouldn’t be any cheaper. Bruticus is $600, so a MMC menasor would still basically just be another super expensive menasor, just smaller.

 

I suspect them to do others first probably, but hopefully everyone gets made.

 

My problem with XTB wasn't the total price. I mean, so far I've also been picking up Fans Toys Stunticons, and I'm pretty sure just the four that have been released are over $500- no way they come in under $600. I don't even think they come in under $700.

My problem with XTB was that they put out three very reasonably-priced Stunticons and two downright cheap ones, only for them to be like, "You bought all five Stunticons and want to combine them? That'll be another $230, please. Oh, plus an extra $75 if you want the accessories we told you were coming with the trailer."

 

This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

 

It looks great indeed... But if I would change anything, it would be Blastoff's colors for something that makes him blend with the rest a bit better.

 

To be fair that's what Ruination has always looked like and Movor was my first so I'd want him to look all white and orange and NASAish.
