Found a weird little tidbit, the instruction manual shows blue inner jaw but the rest is still orange.

Just kinda weird it went full grey-blue instead of just the inner mouth.

 

He looks awesome but I kinda thought he would maybe be a bit bigger? He doesn\'t look that much bigger than Fort Max. The original mockups made him look massive compared to him. It could just be perspective though, I\'m still excited.

Oh, my mistake then. Someone had told me that he's going for $1000, so I assumed that was the starting price

 

Which would've looked fine but obviously somebody didn't get the memo and everything but the maw teeth ended up blue.

Like a lot of city modes these days, seems like all you have to do is lay him down on his back and half transform him and *poof* city mode.

But that art is missing most of the outer panels, the torso doesn't open up, the legs don't open up, etc.

I want that figure..... thanks to the reviews we know that part they made blue has nothing to do with the inside mechanism outside of covering it, so.... why didn’t we just get only the inside piece in blue. Why Hasbro, why!!!

HA! You're 5 minutes closer than I am   Seriously though, I'm glad I went this route. I was going to have it shipped to my mailbox across the US border. Now...the borders are closed.

For the price...yeah, it's a lot. I thought about it for a second before I ordered. This is a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity. I say it in quotes because who knows if that's true. When this was in funding stage I happily passed on MP-44 Prime that was $600 CAD. Not because it was a lot, which it is, but because I have 4 versions of MP-10 already. Value for money is in the eye of beholder. We all have our limits or reasons why we choose/don't choose to pay the asking price. You can come over to my place and check it out sometime hehe!

That's a true concern for any centerpiece. It's what originally stopped me from getting the sail barge and I'm still kicking myself for it. Stupid logical decisions! Unicron is MASSIVE... Most shelving cannot support it (either because of the depth or the weight). Not the first time I've come across this problem. I have lots of examples from the Star Wars toy line. The BMF (big Millennium Falcon) requires 2 feet of depth on a shelf. For Unicron...now I'm trying to figure out where to put him! I have plenty of time. He doesn't need to be displayed on day 1. And, absolute worse case, if I never find space I can always sell him (GASP!). I made the active choice not to have the same regret I still have over the sail barge. I can always sell this, regardless of any profit I may or may not make. But...if I hadn't gotten him there's NO way I would spend 2, 3, 4 times the original price this will command in aftermarket.
