All you sweet summer children talking up GTA3+. I never even got round to GTA2 (though I did play London 1969).

I've basically given up on videogames. It's not that people my age don't play - I know several of you are early 40s too & still keep up to date - just that I, personally, am 100% out of the loop for the foreseeable future. I greatly enjoy @Large posts on games but that's about it  

Maybe one day, the kids will move out, all the major DIY will be done (not all DIY of any kind... it never ends!) and I'll set aside a few hours a week, buy a Retropia, also buy whatever current-gen console looks happiest / has the fewest gritty mature first person shooters, and rediscover the fun.

Until then, there is room in my life for collecting and nattering about robots in disguise, so it's not bad really  

 

Pipes is already confirmed for the main line, retool and all.
Artfire has been rumoured for selects but will not come with a target master apparently.

The weekends building project went well one gundam operational.



No paint or or transfers yet. I might do that later but the stuff i got at the moment is a bit too crude. The engineering on this thing is amazing. All the little parts coming together to form a fully articulate model.

Going for a zoid next.

 

Last night's football featured a moment of brilliance from Bruno Fernandes and several moments of complete incompetence from the defence/goalie which cost them all 3 points so the flirtation with the top of the table is well and truly over.

But THAT goal! And Pogba is now "injured" so the odds of him going to America to play basketball again instead of rehabbing have just shot up  

Opened my GI Joe Ninjas and need at least 2 more, it's flippin' fantastic! Super posable because it's the Snake Eyes body and a shitload of weapons!

I’m not sure about Stepper from SS86 Jazz, I want a Jazz which fits size wise with the rest of the Ark crew and Stepper should be the same mold.

..... but United Stepper is a thing of beauty. Don’t make me decide Hasbro!

Edit: I mean the Stepper from the original RTS Jazz, not the combiner one.

GTA games...

3 and VC are great fun, same with their Stories. SA is generally cool but really began to suffer from the open world aspect, you're better with a sandbox. And anyone who wants to spend time eating and exercising in a video game like they do IRL... what's wrong with you?

IV, while narratively great, is ruined by the driving and sometimes blind luck difficulty. The DLC I barely remember. Far too much realism in terms of tone.

V I need to go back to but the initial feeling was 'too much unnecessary fluff'.
