Any good leads for guns for Earthrise Sunstreaker, Cordon, Spinout?

So that TRA TARGET GEN WFC KINGDOM 4 PACK just going speculate like football transfer rumours that maybe/hoping it could be in the vein of Chaos On Velocitron, Siege On Cybertron TR packs and we get:

Delta Magnus
Sunstorm/Blackout (Seeker recolour)
Clampdown
Flamefeather/Sparkstalker retool from Vertebreak (or Slash)
+Headmaster/Titanmaster/Little guy

Most likely it will be something far more sensible like 4 core class Transformers but I wouldn't mind a Conehead Siege mold trio +1.

What I really want is a Commander Class Skyquake which maybe they could get out of Jetfire. I think its very easy to do 1992/1993 repaints/retools with what has been released over the last 2 trilogies.

Please Hasbro also release a G2 Stealth Assault maybe heavily and extensively retool Skylynx and add another small bot, there you go another Commander Class toy (and repaints).

Missile firing can be the new gimmick for the next trilogy (unless there health and safety laws around toys have got tighter since the 90s).

 

They're as accurate to G1 styling as those you show but injection moulded, the peg tolerances can be a bit whiffy - they were a bit big on mine and needed some shavening. They're also like those prints in being designed to use the rectangular shin ports for vehicle mode but mine could do with a bit of a shaving down there too.
On the plus side a bit more solid on the material front than a print though.

 

I think they're the exception as there's a well established precedent for army building them. Whereas until the lazy Netflix show, you never saw Sideswipe hanging out with his bros/clones in large numbers: there might be an odd story I'm not familiar with, but it's not a constant like with the Seekers.

That's how I justify it to myself anyway. If I can get hold of those Rainmakers, that will bring the total up to 7 of that mold (three original Tetrajets, plus Hotlink), making a complete mockery of that rule, uh... guideline.  

 

Seems like quite a few folks are hoping for Commander Class Skyquake. I mean, with Doubledealer being a piss easy Stalker repaint and them about to basically run out of Deceptijets without going into seriously deep cuts, why not go the whole hog after Kingdom and just do the bloody Predators?

They should have done them in Siege, what with the whole ‘war’ thing.

 

Straight out of the box he's already showing off his moves and first impressions are FUCK. ME. RUNNING.



This lad is next level. As a big fan of what can be achieved articulation wise with the non-transforming Flame Toys and threezero gear, Pexus has rocked up and thrown down with a truly unruly swagger.

 

Now to find somewhere that sells them!

Still making my way through Animated. How can a show that I've already seen seem so refreshing? The 'Autobots as superheroes' angle was way ahead of its time.

Yeah I am sure they can get Predators, Skyschorchers, Axelarators, Turbomasters, Stormtroopers and Aquaspeeders easily done (keeping Axelarators and Skyschorchers Deluxe and Voyager respectively). Sunstreaker is practically an Axelarator in Earthrise.

Well, unlike Sunstreaker it is definitely easier to get the roof panels to sit (nearly) flush on Cordon and Spin-Out, but poor old Cordon has really been screwed over with that clear plastic windscreen. Why do it Selects, why?

 

I do think there have been some very strange choices in terms of some colouring on figures recently - especially in the use of windscreens...

Thrust's wings can be down or up which is a nice touch. I think they're meant to be down as thats how they hinge back. In the up, they only hinge forward.

Also, I'm not sure, but i think ramjet and thrust have a different face. Ramjet chin looks wider and more square than thrust.

I'd heard, last year, about Red Dwarf showrunner Doug Naylor no longer being on the Grant Naylor Productions board but the collective webchat at the time decided it was amicable, he was getting on a bit, didn't need all that directorial admin in his life... but according to the linked report, GNP have claimed total ownership of Red Dwarf which would mean Doug (who has pretty much show run it solo since the mid nineties) couldn't be involved any more, not without them.

Have to admit I greatly prefer the Rob & Doug era to Solo Doug in terms of results, but I respect the work Doug put in keeping it all going for decades. Watching with interest.
