Me too. I just think it would've been a good idea, since they have no plans to do any of those characters again anytime soon, from what we know.

Actually, no, I didn't. I personally do want new versions without the Headmaster gimmick. It's only a problem for the people asking for reissues of those harder to find Titans Return figures.

Eh, honestly we don't know much about what's coming next despite the leakers leaking stuff. Most of the rumors for 2022 outside of one or two specifics are claims that "2022 is going to be a mix of G1, BW, and UT, but it's too early to say who the characters are". Frankly, I take all of this with a grain of salt until concrete proof comes in and Deep Cover is far from a solid piece of evidence since we've known he was coming in Selects for some time now and certainly wasn't an Earth version.

Dang, really wish we could have pinned comments on here. Can somebody direct me to where the transmetals reissues were mentioned?

Hold up. They are reissuing Transmetals Toys? I just missed out that titbid. I wonder, will they use the Armada Tooling for Cheetor, Airrazor, Rhinox, Megatron and Terrorsaur or are they just gunna focus on the deluxe molds?

I’m done for the reissues. But I would love a TM Megatron that doesn’t snap in half. Thank you.

Actually I hope they re-mold their faces for show accuracy also

If that's the case, I wonder what this "Studio Series Premier" is.

Me too. My only two guesses are that it's repaints akin to the first movie's Premium figures (although besides Ratchet and a new Crankcase from Berserker, I don't see who could go in there), or better-engineered figures at a slightly higher price point (which seems unlikely). I don't think either of those is it, but it's just my best guess. I'm also wondering about that G1 reissue. Why is it so shrouded in mystery? I'm also surprised it's something that hasn't been announced yet, since G1 molds seem to just kinda... get revealed without them waiting for a Fan First Friday or anything.

The Last Knight referred to the traditional Deluxe/Voyager/Leader assortments as Premier, memory is fuzzy but I thought maybe some solicits for Studio Series carried that nomenclature when SS picked up where TLK left off? Would be nice to see some more movie product since SS seems to not get many exclusives due to licensing, but not holding my breath on that until more info comes out.

Stoked on the Transmetal reissues, hope we get a bunch of em and not just a couple here and there. If we aren't getting all of Season 1 in Generations for a while still, this is the next best thing.

Any bets on who the G1 reissue is?

If Studio Series "Premiere" is a thing and it's existing figures with better paint work, I'm going to be livid.

I'm totally expecting it for both the 86 movie figures AND the Kingdom BW figures.

Yeah, I've been dutifully collecting the Studio Series for over 3 years now and while the figures are largely terrific, there are a handful that really are lacking in the paint department like Optimus Prime and Ratchet. I was able to add details myself, but an official release with improved deco would feel like a slap in the face.

They sort of did this with Devastator, but you always had to assume there was going to be a box set for him, and it was ultimately just a few extra paint apps on the face, so that wasn't too terrible to miss out on.

At the very least the leaks have helped prepare us for this, like with Cheetor... so I'm already making the decision to skip the mainline version.

Now i have a thought if Studio 86 will attempt with making new molds for the minibots if that's the case. Also Perceptor is a thing too.

Soon as I saw Hot Rod I knew a premium super accurate repaint would come out at some point. As good as the figure is, there is just too much room for improvement in the deco. I still bought the first one I saw.

I will not be in the least bit surprised to see SS86 figures get the retro G1 box treatment with toy accurate paint work. Mark my words.

Yeah I know, but maybe it'll be part of this "Premier" series since the regular SS line doesn't really do just straight up repaints unless it's a different character and even then, there hasn't been many.
