Awesome! Yeah I've heard springs, cardboard, plastic bits, and other things in there. Where'd you get the springs, and what kind?

Cut-down springs scavenged from dead clicker pens.

I'm working on the toyhax sticker set for scorponok and I'm looking for some help/guidance.

On the pincers of the shield there are 3 sets of 3 clear stickers (numbered 134) that you stack to act as fillers to add a chrome sticker to the center of the pincers, and I'm having trouble figuring out exactly where to apply them. Any help is appreciated.

I applied the ones on the 1st pic (if you can see them ok) where they appeared to fit, but the third set in the 2nd pic (I'll refer to them as the lightning bolts) I dont really see a fit for them.

The 3rd pic is an attempt to show where I placed the other two sets on each pincer. It's hard to get a pic but they are at the tip and the mid section on the pincer.

Edit due to pics uploading out of order

Could it be the lightning sticker go on top and the triangles go on the bottom? Sorry, it's been awhile since I did my set.

Sorry for bumping this, but I've looked everywhere and haven't seen a picture of Scorponok in Scorpion mode next to Trypticon in starship/battlestation mode. Can anyone provide one for me please?

I've looked for you online but can't find any of both beside each other in those modes. If I had the energy I'd transform mine and take a photo but I'm just zonked lol.

I can tell you both figures are great and definitely get scorpy if you haven't already

If no one else does by the time I get home from work I will see what I can do for you.

The picture is old and none of the bots is currently in battleship/beast mode so I can't easily take another one, but I hope this will suffice.

Great to see Maketoys Utopia isn't out of place there - I traded my Gen Metroplex for him (and haven't regretted it for a second!)

Yeah the battleship mode is probably the one where he scales the best with the titans, while in bot mode he is more problematic. Still a great figure though.

I don't mind the size of Utopia's bot mode (and love his width and mass! He's one THICC, chunky boy!)
One of the things I hated about Gen Plex was how much bigger than Trypticon he looked - or rather, how small he made Trypty look. At the same time, Gen Plex always seemed too skinny in his own proportions.
I much prefer the Metroplex character to be the "nuggety little guy, overcoming the bigger odds (read: a monstrous TRex)", and Utopia fits the bill perfectly. His proportions certainly better represent the Metroplex character than the Generations version (Utopia's big red guns look cooler too IMHO  ).
I also don't mind him being shorter than Fort Max and Scorpy; at least that's consistent with the G1 toys, and also feels more consistent with the characters (Scorpy and Fort Max being later and therefore 'bigger and more advanced' than the citybots who preceded them).
But yeah; definitely a great figure - and light-years ahead of the Gen Plex in posabiliy!

I'm late to the party with this guy but he is a top figure. Solid as you would want with a figure of that size. Great colors. I just wish my generations metroplex was as solid.

In my head cannon I see bw scorponok as an offshoot of the big guy with certain abilities and strengths hardwired in.

This is how I justify getting the bw scorponok.

I’m honestly surprised this thread isn’t longer. Scorp is the best titan released to date, in my eyes at least! Now the big question is whether to get Zarak or not hmmmmmm

Yep he's the best titan beating out my favorite trypticon. Yes trypticon was my favorite titan but now it's the one time decepticon headmaster commander and decepticon commander in some continuities. Brilliant colors. Solid and imposing.

It really depends on your connection to black zarak. If you're a fan and have both space and money I'd go for it as it's a solid figure. I don't have the space. I've just preordered the ark and can't justify that as well
