I sure hope that floppy backpack tabs in... its like he's being ultra careful to position it in a way to not show off the loose.

He should also invest in some fucking nail clippers.

Don't know why people care about long nails, at least they're clean and well manicured.

because it seems anytime he would scratch the figure using those nails.

I think I'll pick this up. Looked pretty clean overall and I enjoy X Transbots figures for the most part.

Yeah, the robot mode sold me so I’m still ordering this. However will not be transforming this that forceful shaking and pushing to tab in parts I would end up breaking it.

@divinecomedy Oh my god you were right. Robert D IS Keith!

Seriously though that's probably one of if not the stupidest things i've ever heard. This isn't about surpassing FT, this is about making product with a standard of quality that will be on par with FT, who is widely debated as the kingpin of the industry. Any boss who thinks that they should not strive for a higher standard solely for the reason of apparently to not stomp on their higher-level competition honestly needs to rethink their priorities.

You're not stomping on your competition by upping your quality, you're giving them something to worry about and try to broaden the gap against. Upping your quality will only mean that everyone else would need to shape up or sink their ship, don't shudder out of some sort of fear or respect for them.

If this is the attitude that XTB keeps making product with, I honestly have a feeling that i'll be a bit more apprehensive on getting product from them.

Keith doesn't have to do anything. He has his Cult members + Trolled Bots!!!

    They'll do the spinning.

So. There must have been a translation error somewhere. Obviously the part about nanometers has nothing to do with paint but with the clearance between parts ;)

Seriously though that looks... interesting. It's cool that they posted and I can see some similarities between this and a few other XTB transformations but I'm hoping it goes much better in person.

Man, what a weird product demo. The whole vibe is of someone who has never done this transformation before, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was a much more optimal order of operatioms that sidesteps a lot of the problems he was having. Like, would the wheels go easier if you unfurled the backpack and could tuck away the arms first? Can you flip that plate behind the head down and under the neck, rather than up against the back of the head; and if so, does it make a big difference in feeding the head through?

Just another baffling marketing decision by XTB. The transformation probably isn't fun anyway, but I can almost guarantee that it's more fun than it looks in that video. They should gave scrapped that video 5 minutes into filming, given the guy an afternoon to properly prepare for this promotional bit.

I'm cringing the whole time worried they'll break a nail.

I get that it's a cultural thing, but as someone who has acrylics occasionally, transforming these complicated bots with long nails is a nightmare.

    Eeek

When XTB seems uncertain how to get their own figure transformed, that’s probably enough for me to stay away.

If there's no video from 598 Robots, it's a good bet you should stay away.

The trailer's a nightmare to transform, and this one appears to be cut from the same cloth. What does that say about Springer?

I just paid the combined shipping fee at tfs-express, XTB Kup plus two other toys. I am satisfied with XTB Kup given the total cost.

The transformation looks very complex, but I forgot about that when I heard the ratcheting action!

Folks, I’m in the QQ group of XTB. Based on the feedback and pictures there, Kup QC is not good ...
