They dropped free trials just before WW84 came out, I really doubt they would give out free trials when they are putting new movies up
Probably, but money's tight right now for everybody. It's going to be tight for everybody for a long time. And, most people are going to want to watch just this movie.
Although, I suspect it'll be on DVD/Blu Ray within six months from now. So, me, I'd just wait until then. Just rent it from Redbox. There is no way WB/HBO/DC is going to not sell this as a DVD/Blu Ray. Not with all the money they've spent on it. Enough to have made an entirely new movie.
A lot of these exclusives appear on other streaming services eventually, anyways. I've seen Netflix exclusives on other streaming services. (Like, Amazon, Tubi.) I too, suspect they'll milk this too.
That's cause HBO max is only in the US, and probably only ever will be. Disney is the only media company, so far, that hasn't (or has un) balkanized it's streaming rights. I rented (well slitzies with my sister's fam for a movie night) WW84 on Amazon. For me Titans, Flash, Black Lightning, and YJ are on Netflix. Supergirl and Batwoman are on Shaw networks (and SG is on Netflix too). LoT and Doom Patrol are on Bell networks. Stargirl doesn't exist unless you have cable, same with Harley Quinn.
Makes me wonder if Kong vs. Godzilla will only be available in theatres in Canada or if they’ll put it on demand.
HBO Max will be available outside of the USA, for example HBO Max is expected to arrive in Latin America later this year, no date as of now, but its this year that they'll start rolling it outside of USA.
Speaking of Martian Manhunter, does anyone know if Harry Lennix playing MM in the Snyder Cut means his character from Man of Steel is going to be retconned as being MM's human disguise, or is it just like how John Rhys-Davies was both Gimli and the voice of Treebeard in the same movie?
I believe I read somewhere awhile back that Lennix's character in MoS was going to eventually be revealed in a future film as Martian Manhunter as Snyder's original intent. This was way before the news of this new cut came out. Now whether or not that still holds true is up in the air, but I can't see why he'd bother bringing Lennix back if Snyder didn't still intend to go that route.
