How tf do you forget Liam Neeson's name?  
Also, this comment is kinda messed up when you remember Lorenzo Di Bonaventura originally wanted Neeson for the original 2007 film instead of Cullen.

 

Frankly, in all honesty, as much as I'd love to hear Liam Neeson voice an incarnation of Optimus Prime, considering the stain that Bayformers became on the franchise, in hindsight Neeson probably dodged a bullet there.

 

How about Jesse Eisenberg for Optimus?

I’d love for Steve Jablonsky to return for the score, he was the most consistently great thing about the Bay films to me.

Fred Tatasciore’s Megatron is one of my favorites.

 

Honestly, I hope they get someone other than Jablonsky to compose for this new reboot. I really enjoy his scores to the first three Bay movies, but I feel his musical approach to big blockbuster movies is kinda stale at this point.

I would personally love to see Mark Mothersbaugh take the reins from Jablonsky; a synthy, retro approach like his work on Thor Ragnarok would be a really good fit for the franchise IMO, especially given the 80s setting.

 

I hope so too. I think Steve Jablonsky has done some great work, but we need some new musical influences in Transformers. I don't think Steve Jablonsky should become the go-to composer for every new Transformers movie, just because he worked on Bay's movies. He was Bay's choice, and future directors should be able to work with their favorite composers too.

 

Ah yes, I believe Craig Kilborn, Carrot Top and Sinbad are set to star.

 

I'd love it if the soundtrack was really experimental with the use of robotic noises. One thing that really got me thinking about it was this scene from the movie Robots.

 

You know, it’s been a long time since I’ve been excited for a Transformers movie, that was all the way back with Dark of the Moon. I want to feel that excitement again.

So I’m hoping that the next movie can restore that. And apparently the director is a fan himself, so that always bodes well.
