I gave the Universe Hound a new Jeep grill and bumper. I’m considering putting in a tow wrench under the bumper but don’t want too much clutter. For the Seige Hound, I removed the rear canopy and added PlapPlate to fill in the legs. I had to shave off the lights on the front wheel fender for the transformation. I’m considering doing a Hummer grill but not sure it’s worth the effort.

Nice, classics hound looks almost as if it came that way. Any chance you could share what jeep model the grill & bumper came from? I'd be tempted to try something similar haha

It’s from the Fast and Furious Jeep Gladiator 1/32 scale. I got it at Walmart for about $6. Because the depth of the headlight, I had dremel a cavity into Hound’s headlight region. I filled in the gaps with a 2 part epoxy resin.

Classic hound was one of the very few figures that actually looked pretty G1 under the classics line. It also had ankle tilts and all. The 2 problems I thought it have was that it needed to have heel support to prevent falling back and fillers.

Very cool! Universe Hound will always be one of my favorites, glad to see him get some love. What paint did you use on him?

I had to mix color. The latest mix is 1 part citrus green and 1 part Tamiya flat green. 33321AB9-9F5B-4E2B-9447-B8A17DB97C74.jpeg

Does anyone know if we will get an earthrise Hound or earth like hound soon in 2022?

Trying to find out if a new hound is in the pipeline or if I should buy a universe hound in order to do a custom Detritus. I am trying to balance out the ground vehicles on the decepticon size since I don't like the idea of seekers being the same size as cars.

Universe Hound has the better head sculpt too. Your custom is top notch. I'm just trying to find time to do one myself. I might go for a full repaint though with a darker green (more like the g1 toy).

I like the top part of the Universe Hound. Not as impressed with the bottom part especially the short thigh and large and lack of a heel.

I hope Hasbro release a new Hound. I want
a darker green like the cartoon but don’t really want to take out all the pins or get an airbrush since I like transforming my figures without paint chips

The only thing I don't like about Universe 2.0 Hound is the lack of waist swivel. Otherwise, to me, he is the better-looking Hound figure. I never bought the Siege version and am perfectly happy with my Uni-2.

This custom looks really good! Cleans up the front and gives him a nice update. You did some excellent color-matching as well, all things considered. I like this!

I've also thought about using the Buzzworthy Bubblebee Studio Series - Bumblebee Jeep and swapping out the head with a CW Hound head in order to create a custom detritus figure. It's much smaller though in robot mode than the CW deluxe figures. Any suggestions?

Sorry but I’m not familiar with any of the movie Transformers so I have no idea how the Bumblebee compares to Universe Hound o WFC Hound.

There is actually an upscaled knock off of the scout jeep bumblebee in green.

I feel like future iterations of hound should include Ravage as an accessory.

That wouldn't be bad! I think universe is the best ravage we have, hopefully the 86 ravage will be better because it has soundwave compatibility.
