yolopark mentioned that the only thing that changed was the slight increase in head size as per the feedback given to them by the fans from the last toy show, otherwise everything else remains unchanged. i think their 3d renders aren’t consistent, because if you look at the actual prototype, it’s a lot leaner than in the renders:

i owned the 3a premium prime and bee in the past, so i’m not hating on 3zero by any means, but imo it’s really hard to compare the value between the two because yolopark and its iies is soooo much more intricate than 3zero. as @Liege maximo stated earlier, it’s like comparing a swiss watch to a $5 analog watch: they may both look similar on the outside, but there’s so much more going on inside the swiss watch. is it worth 4-5x the amount? that’s subjective, but there’re people out there buying rolexes and $500+ whiskey when there are cheaper alternatives.

i also owned ultimetal prime, and i can honestly say my excitement for this guy is higher than both the ultimetal and 3a premium figures combined.

You guys are both using an older unarticulated prototype model that Yolopark shared on July 2020. The one in the newest video is their latest updated model with the latest updated paint work. It's pointless using that older unpainted model.

Sorry but the one that's being presented currently is a big change from their initial 3D model print. Which makes sense since doing from an unarticulated model to a fully articulated one changes it. A figure also goes through several iterations, which this one clearly did.

And honestly, a part of it is probably due to how it's being posed. I have no doubt that someone can pose this thing to really show it off well but boy are they not doing it properly themselves. I'm only being more harsh towards this due to the price that they want to charge. This is a FIGURE that comes out to almost $3000. If they were charging closer to something like $800-$1000, these mistakes and inaccuracies would be a bit easier to forgive but man is it hard to see these issues on something that cost so much.

I just think they went way too ambitious and overboard with all the extra uneeded gear and cable/rod detail that it ended up messing up with the proportions.

Taking the chest size and hip/thigh aside, the arms are also too long. Either that or the legs are too short. You can see that if the arms gets extended straight down his side, his hands end up being too close to his knee. It's giving the entire figure a very stubby unproportioned look.

I don't know. I hope for the best for those of you who ordered one because man, this is not a cheap figure. I'm being harsh because I wish it was more spot on for the price that it is. They're also not a well established Transformer company. This is their first one.

Even Threezero's first Tformer figures were rough around the edges but they've improved so much over the years. It's just too much of a gamble trusting this company to put out a figure worthy of a $3000 price tag.

ok, well here are photos and videos from their last toy show. he looks nowhere as stubby as the 3d renders, his proportions look exactly like the “july 2020 unarticulated prototype”.

also, preorder price for the standard version is $2200USD before shipping, not sure how you’re rounding up to $3k. is it a lot? sure. is it perfect? nobody knows for sure yet. does the recent real life colored and articulated prototype look like it has better proportions than the 3d render? seems to me like it is.

I think anyone who backs this is taking a risk that some things may be a bit off.. The price tag is crazy ya.. but a 2 foot prime made in a new way with crazy detail is worth it to me... IMO any major looks issues will be worked out just the figure okayed by Hasbro.. they fixed the head that was my only real major issue that it looked a little small. For $2,200 the pop and pretty much their whole figure line on the line I think they'll give it their all.

I do think the gun is hiding the narrowness of the chest. I was down for the Deluxe, but they were sold out, sometimes things can be a blessing in disguise ;) . I was not going to be buying the Normal version for anything, but did consider the DLX. I think the pricing is inclusive of shipping and inevitable duties this figure will incur.

yea, i haven't come across a clear shot of his silhouette since the colored prototype from the last toy show, but from what i can see, my main point was that the colored prototype looks a lot like the gray prototype, whose proportions i'm totally good with, and that the recent 3d renders don't reflect that accurately.

if you look at their site (BUMBLEBEE THE MOVIE : IIES 24), they clearly say that "Price does not include shipping cost or possible domestic tax upon arrival." i wish you were right though!

Yeah I don't know. It looks better in these pictures but you can 100% tell that the entire chest/ab area is too small compared to its really wide hips and legs. Like they really gave him some wide birthing hips and thighs.

Had they not done that to the chest and hips, this would look so much better. Legs also look to be on the short side and that shoulder design that they have going on is not good.

Guessing they're not gonna update the figure further from this point. Ah well. This is just needs to be posed a good way to hide the hips and shoulder thing they got going on.

yea i hear you, in some angles it does look wider, but other pictures look perfectly fine and in-line with the other offerings, like this:

    4950AAD8-0569-4179-987D-AAD6F68FAE4F.jpeg 18F1C15E-E194-4D6A-8E02-E952217DA21C.jpeg

either way, i think most of us are backing him up bc of how intricate he is. would we want 100% accuracy? for sure. but given this guy is fully articulated, i understand if some parts have to be modified to account for all the joints/mechanisms, something the cgi and the prime1 statue don’t need to worry about. IF 3zero does indeed have more narrow hips, then good for them, but i’m all-in for everything yolopark has that 3zero doesn’t.

But the hips on the CGI model are proportionate to the rest of his body. On Yolopark Prime, the hips jut out so much so that I'm pretty sure they're actually wider than his chest (as shown below).

yea i’ve been trying to study the movie caps as best as i can, and i think this is the clearest scene i can find of him from the front. the widest point of his hip is just about the same width as his chest.

back to the figure - i do agree with the few of you claiming his hip skirts seem too wide in some shots, but until we get a clear shot of him from up front to really compare, i think it’s too soon to say. would i want the hip skirts skinnier than the chest? for sure! am i going to agonize over it if it isn’t because it’s needed for the engineering? probably not.

Every part of the belt area is movable I don't think we'll really know what's going on until we see a video on posing or we get it in hand. Screenshot_20210129-063945_Chrome.jpg

That's still a hell of a beast. I do own a P1 AOE Prime ultimate and this is going to be the same size °_O! This will never be as perfect as a statue, but concerning the details, sure that Yolopark beats any statue of Prime. And I think that's the target: people who wants an extremely detailed engineered figure rather than an accurate screen like statue.

However, I am expecting more images than short videos. I hope that soon we will see that toys TV (I do not know the name exactely) doing a review one day.

not sure if it's just me, but i just noticed that their preorder page has additional pictures compared to last time: BUMBLEBEE THE MOVIE : IIES 24

    DSC04775_a57c0b31-98e4-4a93-820c-5cb683fbb80e_1024x1024.jpg DSC04793_d9bfee56-2826-4b7d-adb5-c49370b17d05_1024x1024.jpg

this is the best picture i can find of him directly from the front, i ain't even mad at the hip skirts and his proportions. also, good to see his arm joints can support his gun extended in front of him.
