So I understand, that G1 may shift towards the SS line? Since many TF were featured in the movie (even the dying S1 ones), I could see many figures coming in this line. Wouldn`t mind if they don`t have 5mm hard points over their bodies like in CHUG.

So far the leaked Cyclonus seems like it's probably a preview of things to come with Studio Series 86, and while it seems to not be covered 5mm ports and is a bit smoother than Siege/Earthrise, it still has some of the 3mm pegs and probably at least a couple 5mm ports, and kinda fits in well enough stylistically.

I prefer to think of it as juvenile, though my own mother has called me shallow.

 

My suspicion is that this is Hasbro's contingency plan for the Studio Series line being put into action. I bet when they first launched it in 2018, they were probably hoping Paramount would have new material for them by the time they worked their way through most of the existing designs in the first six movies. Unfortunately, between Paramount dragging their feet, and now the ongoing pandemic, they're getting close to running out of toys to make. Apart from a small number of characters in ROTF and DOTM, all that is left is AOE, the remaining cybetronan designs from Bumblebee movie (if they actually care to design original alt-modes for them from scratch).... and TLK, if they even bother with that bomb again.

And I'm more than fine with this, given that 5 Studio Series toys based on Bayformers have already leaked... and for the first time ever, we're getting G1, Beast Wars, and Bayformers toys all in a single year. What's not to love? I'm so tired of these inter-fandom wars. If you're an adult and getting this upset about Hasbro not catering solely to your particular form of nostalgia, you really need to get your priorities straight, because these are fucking toys.

 

As long as we get Devcon, I'm happy.

It is CHUG. Says it right on the packaging. It's just a sub-line of Generations the same way that Siege and Earthrise are sub-lines.

 

The leaked information says we are going to see SS86 Slag (I think it was in Walmart page?) with Daniel (meh)

I ask to all matrix bearers and Primes... when is it going to be? I asume all who knows about leaked information knows how much time it pass since the information appear until the real product shows... I just cant wait!!
