I ordered two, hopefully I'll get the Transformers one and the Joes one. If I get the same, I'll see about trading with anyone who did the same.

 

But is it confirmed to where its all the same theme in one lunch box? The way I read it on the promo pic where it says you get one of each item, I took it as you could get the transformer pops, and the other items are all GI Joe items?

 

Looking nice, two of my favorite Hasbro properties. Now if only the Crossover line will catch on

 

It will be a mix. I'm guessing since it's a versus theme, you could potentially get Optimus Prime vs. Cobra Commander

Which is a shame. Two regular priced Funkos are $10ea, keychains about $5-$6ea. The price is right, but disappointing because those who are Funko collectors will have to take more effort in trades to get the ones they want. A negative of the hobby.

If someone legitimately stops enjoying something because other people don't like it, it makes me wonder how much they really enjoyed it in the first place.

It's okay to say critical things about stuff you don't like. Some people seem like a real-life version of the radio DJ on GTA V (Michelle) who claims that the future we all want is one where nobody ever says anything that's not nice.

 

Anyone happen to know if this is a reversible tin lunch box - meaning the flip side of transformers is gi joe? My cart on Gamestop has two lunch box images, one for each brand so I'm curious if it is two separate boxes or 1 reversible.

 

Well, yeah. Did I say anything that gave the impression otherwise? I said personal preference is fine and I can understand if people find them creepy/etc. Not sure where the issue is now.

 

Really shouldn’t be a “mystery box.” I really want the Duke and Cobra Commander POPs. They’re leagues better than the previous editions.
If anyone is ordering the set and they get a GI Joe set that they don’t want, I’ll be willing to buy it from you!

I read mystery box as in the WHOLE box. You either get the Transformers one with one the transformers things or the Joe's one with the Joe's stuff. It would be crazy to get a Joe's box, Transformers Pop, Covra sticker, one of each pin. MAN I hope not.

 

Something interesting on this blind box - a limit of 3 max - "You have reached the quantity limit for Funko Box: Transformers VS. G.I. Joe Only at GameStop." An item designed to be bought multiple times with a limit...

 

Maybe if they can't sell these they will send them over to lootcrate so we can get mystery-mystery boxes of utter crap.

Besides that joke of a price I'm a little triggered how they keep using the movie faction symbols when this set is clearly G1-based.

 

How is it a joke of a price? Two GameStop exclusive pops = $24, pin set = $4, key chain = $4, sticker =$1. = $33 total. The lunch box is basically free and looks on par with the $20 dollar one that came out like 10 years ago. If anything it’s about $10 underpriced...but whatevs.

At any rate, I am wondering if these will have variants like the DBZ box did.

 

Agreed. I’m actually getting these for the boxes (they make great storage for accessories haha). The Pops and everything else are just an added bonus, and when you do the math, they are reasonably priced so I’m happy to bite.
