What estimate? I don't see any final price on Showz.

Guys there's really no point in worrying about details like that until we at least see a prototype.

Someone said the estimate is end of 2021. I’m pretty sure it won’t be released this year but hopefully it won’t be a few years wait.

Also yeah, TMT still is making a lot of changes so we don’t have to be too worried for minor details.. Yet

I don't know why, but something tells me that TMT isn't going to pull a TW, and be ridiculous with the price.

 

TW prime is almost the same price as Unique toy’s re-issue. In fact, it’s only a $10-15 difference with UT being $135 and TW being $150. It’s not that expensive... the deluxe one is, but that’s what an extra gun, alternate hands, and display stand do with prices. Doesn’t seem that ridiculous.

I find Knight Orion’s price justified if the quality is good. For that size and paint, it’s a reasonable price

Oh the disappointment when you see the price for a figure and don't realize at first it's not in your currency.

 

I'm not gonna fall into the rabbit hole abt who charges what, and who includes what, so I'll only say this..

1. I do believe that UT is overcharging for their latest Prime, considering that their first version originally sold for $99 on ShowZ.

2. I'll give TW credit for the gun. But adding a bunch of random pieces just up their price, just like they did with their BB Prime, doesn't excuse the price.

Why not just give us good articulated hands to begin with, instead of making Gundam like hands just to make him look more appealing.

While the stand is nice, why not just provide the option to buy it separately, like UT did?

Their first deluxe came with almost the same amount of plastic.. minus the stand.. and was only $118, which is more than reasonable.

You prefer paying more, just for sake of having more plastic, a cooler display option, and loose pieces laying around, or put away? More power to you my man.

I personally prefer to pay a reasonable amount, for the most accurate toy possible, without being blinded by all the bells and whistles. Like with BA Prime. But that's just me.

 

There’s 2 versions for a reason. 1 is cheaper and has less of the fluff for a reason. I prefer what they included in the deluxe yeah, but I actively despise companies who add fluff but no option for consumers. I think TW is fine. (Also the $118 is like all other PO’s on Showz, a early guess.)

I will admit, Toyworlds non articulated hands are absolutely bizarre. And the prices are definitely higher. Though, not as high as something like XTB with their $200 springer, TW at least let’s you spend less for less crap on the side. They also arguably have more diecast and paint in general than UT, so I imagine that raised the price. I think $150 is still not that bad for what they offer, at least looking at other 3p products.

Right, I get there's 2 versions, but I'm saying that IMO, even the one that's priced at $150 is still too much in my book.

They're literally charging an extra $32 just for the stand, when you factor in that the $118 PO came with this...
This version actually has more plastic, than the $150 version if you take the stand away. And THAT, to me is ridiculous.

I'll be honest and admit that I almost pulled the trigger on Orion bcs I really wanted a Knight Prime. But I, even then, still didn't think he was worth $150, just for the stand.

 

That is the $150 version, the $118 preorder and what you showed are 1 in the same. That early price tag was just an early price estimate by showz.

 

It wasn't an estimation. I actually preordered one way back when it was $118, but I asked ShowZ to move my preorder to the 2nd batch bcs I thought that he was gonna get released soon, and I wanted to buy something else.

Showz responded back asking if I was sure about moving my preorder, bcs the second batch was gonna be more expensive. I ended canceling my preorder later on. So had I just my original preorder alone, I would've only paid $118 for him.

 

It’s still an early estimate, Showz is just one of the few stores who usually honors those early PO prices they set, it’s why I use them and got Knight Orion on PO for less than he is now.

Anyways, I have my full thought in the post you quoted in your last post (it’s been edited since then.) so that’s what I end up thinking about it. Again, I agree it’s on the more expensive side, just think it’s not that bad compared to other companies.

 

At least the accessories that seem to come with this figure make sense. No smaller second shield or weapons that never appeared on screen or random 3A-compatible head. If the price is a bit higher then it'll at least feel justified to me, especially given the high degree of accuracy in the sculpt and (supposed) posability.

 

I want sniper rifle, rocket launcher, bow and arrows for prime to artificially increase the price by $60
