My barrel wouldn't budge. Loosening thevtwo front screws a bit fixed it right up.

What's a good price for the 4 limb bots and motor master without the trailer used?

I had the set, sold it, but kind of miss their bot modes. Not in any mad rush to get them and wouldn't mind nabbing them used if the price was right but just wondering what kind of ballpark I'd be looking at...

Zeta Onslaught looks good. MMC's stuff is too chuggish for my taste and that Blastoff is a total head-scratcher.

Say what? Of the available Combaticons, MMC's set is by far the most 'toon accurate (with the exception of Onslaught, who is more toy-like with some cartoon detailing). What's puzzling about their Blast-off?

They are currently the most toon accurate but they also don't really fit my idea of MP aesthetic. Someone can do better. XTB, FT, whoever. Too many sacrifices made for the all-in-one. They look off standing next to FT or XTB stunticons. And Blastoff missing ankle rockers screams chug-level engineering and he basically has no thighs. Easy pass. Brawl and Vortex look nice though.

Thankfully still IKEA, so you can get them at the same place ;)

These are the standard Billy Bookcases, but I opted to switch all the removable shelves with glass ones ... I think at the time they were $5 for the short shelves and $10 for the long...can add up fast depending on how many of these you need but you can’t argue with the result!! I ended up donating the original white shelves to a local toy shop.

In my picture, these also all have the extension pieces put on top because the ceiling height in the room could accommodate, FYI.

    Fair enough.

But not being "accurate enough" is rather a far cry from being "CHUG-ish". The latter implies that a lot of creative liberties were taken, and at least for the four limbs, the only departures in their designs are proportional, for the sake of the engineering.

I've never seen what the big deal with Blast-off's legs was. He's got the mid-shin joints, which, while not ideal, have been used at various points in the past, even officially, when a proper ankle joint is not feasible. On top of that, Blast-off's round afterburner toe means that his feet never look properly planted anyways, so I don't find it really matters at all.

I went back and forth on MMC's for a bit. Blast-off's legs sealed the deal but I don't know if I was ever going to be in. I'm using FT for my bot-mode Stunticons and I couldn't be ok with them being taller than Swindle and Vortex. I'll wait and see what comes next for the Combaticons. I'm good with Zeta for combined mode.

the hip ratchets feel as though they are a little bit weak, but the front and back movement is fine as it is very tight. I'm happy with the knees being non ratcheting too as there is plenty of strength in it.

the sideways hip ratchets make him harder to do certain poses, not that you would make do wide stances anyway

I'm not in for most of it, myself to be fair, but for those wanting a chrome sword etc. Or some real world details, it's great. The insignias sized to the spaces on the trailer is really good, but too expensive for just those!

He's also got a "26 Citanes" decal for TE Mirage that's really quite tempting

If it were just the emblems, I would have seriously considered it. The sword could be (spray)painted to give it a chrome look. But as a total, it is too much.

Thanks! I also noticed that most of the bots in the picture look shinier than normal - I think it's the LED lights in my cabinet shining on the figures directly and reflecting off the glass and metal in there.

I think he's referring to the TransFormMission Chrome Havoc set.
