    Weta Workshop - Wikipedia

Best known for the Peter Jackson LOTR films, but also did work for DISTRICT 9, MAD MAX, and BATTLE ANGEL ALITA.

I don't really mind if they come in.

Eh, ILM has been great for 6 films, I don’t see why it needs to change. Plus, a majority of Weta’s work is fantastic but something always seems a tad “off” and I can’t put my finger on what it is.

WETA is renowned for its motion capture stuff more than its VFX. Great VFX but motion capture is where they're at, so I think for Transformers it's a take it or leave scenario considering ILM is generally skilled in what it does.

I feel we're trying to fix something that was never a problem. ILM's CGI has always been good in these movies. Let's worry about things that need improvement.

As much i like ILM, Weta is known for the Lords of the ring and is more sophisticated and advanced. It's time to move on.

No problem with ILM at all. The people responsible for robot design should be the concern

LOTR is like 20+ years into the past compared to when Transformers started.

Can you elaborate where exactly Weta is more sophisticated and advanced than ILM? I mean sure a lot of Hollywood movies are using Weta so is it like a cheaper option for VFX? :inquisiti

I would more love to see Weta working togheter with ILM to be honest. It would be amazing to see the work they could do togheter but to actually respond to your question i would say yes.

I don't really think so since ILM is more how do i say... experienced and just more advanced than Weta in a lot of ways.
