That's lame, did you try contacting where you bought it from?
Could be worth trying to contact all retailers that stock this to see if they happen to have had a customer who received a copy with two neutral faces and no shouting face, though this long after initial release that might be hard to find.

Also if you want to sell your extra shouting face let me know, mine has a paint blemish (actually all my faces from this second purchase have minor paint blemishes).

 

I bought in on EBay from a fantastic seller from Taiwan. Steve something or other. Bought it late Sunday night and it got to the states from there by Friday. And the shipping was free.

As to the extra face, I’ll poke around a bit. I don’t mind giving you the extra one, I don’t want any money for it. I just need to make sure that my seller, or if I have to go through one of the online stores, isn’t going to require me to send the extra face in to get the one that I’m missing.

I got mine from a seller in China, I think. I complained about the bum faces and also the damaged box, he gave me $10 off for the damaged box, but said he'd "check with this supplier" about the faces which seems to always be a dead end sadly.

I also just purchased the mp-36+ from, I believe, the same Ebay seller Steve Toys ... in Taiwan. Should arrive in the next couple days based on tracking and I am very excited. I am just apprehensive that it is genuine and not a KO. I messaged the seller but got no reply as of yet. I imagine you are sure it is a real Takara Tomy figure?

 

As far as I know the figure has never been KO’d, and there is nothing with the quality of the figure that would make me believe it was a KO.

Anyone know an easy way to straighten Megatron’s waist swivel? Looks like the pin was misfired making it lean towards one side. It’s really minor but my OCD can’t ignore it.

Upon further inspection looks like there’s a screw in his back that I can try to remove to access the inside. Possibly some flashing that needs to be removed.

 

Do you have an ebay link for the guy, I couldn't find any sales for MP-29 plus except for one that's in Japan for 400ish, I didn't even realize they put the Tampo on him ugh, I should have grabbed this one in the very beginning, this one does look a lot better...Unless they end up redoing Shockwave like they are the seekers....

Ah ok my bad. Actually that's where i got my mp36 now that I think about it  . Also went a few more posts back and ended up grabbing what it seems to be the last one from Nissan yippon. I figured if there was any issues and I paid with PayPal would be easy to dispute it.

 

Help me out here. I'm thinking about grabbing 36+. But I want to make sure the barrel sits flush against his side. On 36 it always points out some and looks crooked. Can someone confirm if that was fixed for +?

 

No, neither sits flush. I tweaked mine so that it could so. See my earlier posts here and here for what I did. The result is nice, though!
