i check their fb and youtube channels every day to see if there’s an update. last i was told from their last convention, they’re going to upsize the head bc they do acknowledge that it looks small from certain angles.

while i agree that this is a lot of money to put down on an unproven item and would agree on having regular updates for some reassurance, i don't want to be the guy to keep poking them asking for updates. when they’re ready to update us, i’m sure we’ll see it here

I’m dropping out of this project, I believe. Not because I can’t afford it, but because I just don’t think I need this. I’ve recently gotten into Hot Toys, more than I was whenever I put the deposit down on this.

If anyone wants a deluxe, I’ll let it go for cost minus $100 (that way I make back $200 of the deposit).

The more I find on it the more I want it.. and I'm pretty poor lol 42 hours OT put aside for it so far and with the 600 from the government this week I should have enough! It will be my one movie prime.. hyper real and beat up.. everything else I have is toon G1 MP goodness.. a bit worried on buyers remorse but you only live once..

Man they love to make those 15 sec videos.. the figure is so detailed i can't make out much with it spinning and panning all over.. cool seeing the eyes light up.. not sure what to make of the bright crome face though.. its supposed to be a new bigger head so maybe no weathering yet..

 

The figure still doesn't look as good as it should. Good to see that they at least changed the paintjob to a non-chalky version. How are they charging nearly $3000 for this though?

Proportions look a bit awkward (head is now too big) and the shoulder joint looks really bad. The chest looks too small and narrow. His hips are wider than his entire chest area. His arms looks way too long, they come down to his knees.

I'm not seeing the reason for this to be almost $3000. Looks like something that should be $500-$600 MAX and even then I would just go for Threezero's Premium version.

 

I guess ThreeZero Premium scale looks better and it’s much much cheaper than this Yolopark figure

 

ThreZero Premium scale looks better according what we see. I am looking forword to seeing a more detailed video/description from Yolopark.
I preordered it (though I am from Belgium), but I really, really do need more info on this guy to keep it. That's a masterpiece of engineering (like a Swiss watch), but, the accuracy is important also. I have just received the 3zERO Bumblebee Premium and they would nicely display together. But, a lot remains to be seen yet.

I’m not crazy on matrix chambers on this design. Yolopark prime’s thighs looks equally as thick as Shockwave

 

That's pretty cool, but it never happened in the movie and Threezero has better proportions with it being a fraction of the price of this one. :/

 

I agree, Yolopark looks like they did all the tiny details and gimmicks without looking at overall proportion.

 

Sorry but it having the matrix of leadership doesn't make up for the rest of the figure not looking good. I rather take Threezero's version without a matrix than Yolo's version that has one.

Super wide hips, super small and narrow chest, bad looking shoulder joint that looks to have some weird limited articulation. Looks like you won't be able to swivel the arm around 360 due to how they designed the joint to be run by some sort of cable/rod system.

It's a shame too because if they actually made this look better it would be incredible with all the moving parts.
