With the streaming wars underway, films going straight to Streaming Services (i.e HBO Max) and original content created to encourage audience to pay for their Streaming Service what are the possibilities of Transformers recieving shows on Paramount+?
Personally I'd love to see an animated film followed by an animated series of N.E.S.T. set during the first trilogy of films, maybe another show set in the Bumblebee universe. What do you think?

I like the idea of this. It would be cool to see shows between the events of the first trilogy and maybe they could explain what happened to some of the characters that didn't return, like Jolt for example. (Yes, I know he got killed in the comics but it's debatable if they are canon).

It really depends. Can they have their own streaming service or are they going to sell their movies to different streaming platforms? (e.g. Coming 2 America on Amazon)

I think if this virus doesn't go away Paramount+ could very well be the home for the next TF film for 2022

Hasbro can't even muster up enough money for a half decent animated Netflix show. There's no way they would be able to invest in a live-action show.

I've said it before, but I'd love a live-action Transformers streaming show that makes use of Sqweeks/Frenzy style puppets alongside human companions. They could do clever stuff to keep the cost down, like use a Pretender and maybe have an automobile Transformer who's stuck in car mode or something fun like that (maybe a wireframe hologram of the character's face appears on a dashboard monitor, and the character could have some deployable weapons that could be done with practical prop attachments). They could focus on smaller-scale threats, and occasionally have popular Transformers characters cameo during key moments.

With clever writing, something like that seems doable. Do I expect it to happen? No. I think the time to do that would have been when the movie series was at its peak and thriving, maybe after DOTM or AOE. At the moment Hasbro seems to be trying to play it more safe and make everything oriented around G1 and the popular classic characters (both with the movies and with the brand as a whole). I don't see this sort of thing happening in the foreseeable future, but I do hope we see something like this eventually.

I think the Bayverse is scorched earth at this point, quite literally.
However, I wouldn't mind too much should a TV series be made to connect and explain away the various plot holes and histories of that "continuity".

More realistically, I'd be open to see live-action shows based on the more human-centric brans/properties like Action Man, G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K., or even one about Sector 7. Very much like the MCU shows on Netflix & Disney+.

Reign of Starscream: Limited Series? o_O

If they were to do stuff like that, I imagine that it'd probably be animated. Animation is cheaper than live-action and you'd be able to do much more in terms of story and budget. I think that if a Bayverse continuation were to be made, it would be a comic or something, but a small series, animated or live-action, that continues after TLK would be... interesting. I don't know how you pick up after TLK, lol.

This really is the long and short of it, Hasbro has done nothing to give me the impression they're willing to invest more than the absolute bare minimum into their media going forward.

After the disasters that were the Aligned Continuity and the Bay films, why should they? They can just try and cruise by on safe, no-risk-involved content for the next little while and people will probably just lap it up anyways.

I definitely don't know what the chances are but I'd be up for something like this. My dream show would be a Sector 7 mini-series focusing on young agent Simmons with some cameos from Blackout, Barricade or potentially Jetfire if instead it takes place during the early 20th century.

Yes! Especially the reign of starscream. That comic is 81937F03-5133-4057-975B-9DA425C779C4.jpeg I’ll love to see an animated adaptation of it

I'd definitely love to see that if I had be honest. More likely the road they'll lean towards too. Considering how most films and soso are now being streamed. So I'd be down for this.
