So pixel dans friend who owns a toy store has a farmer bring in his old toys as a kid to sell. (he was tired of moving them around) Spoiler He was a farmers kid and only cared for truck toys so his he-man, transformers and other toys were just set up like statues and many still in box and never played with! (like a mib jetfire!) He had loose he-mans as well including one his mom got in a mail a way! Wonderbread he-man! Nice the store guy didn't cheat him and shocked him with the price! Crazy!
Made my first (pre)order of Origins figured from BBTS today. My daughter wanted She-ra, and I wanted Scareglow. I tossed in Mosquitor and Stinkor for S&G's.
I'd just be happy if Target would put out more than He-man, Skeletor, and Battle Cat. That's all I have seen for a month.
I was able to get the battle armor guys and I have seen the Sky Sled, Panthor and all of wave 2 in store. But I only want flocked Panthor at this point.
Well I want the Battle Armor He-man for the vintage head, I have 2 on order... I also want to see how well they replicate Stinkor's stink!!!
Got Roboto today, seems easier to swivel at the waist towards the left than right, sometimes the gears look like they get stuck between clicks. Otherwise, I like it. Might get She Ra if I see it again.
I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I would prefer that Origins Stinkor and Mossman not get their scents. The Classics versions of those figures stunk up my display shelf. It might be neat and gimmicky at first, but after a week it was just annoying. Plus there are some collectors out there who have allergies to those chemicals so it would be nice for them to actually be able to add Stinkor and Mossman to their collection.
Can we finally put this wonderbread he-man nonsense to rest. It exists. Most of us have seen it in mixed lots on eBay for years (decades now). Some rando working the telephones at a defunct bread company making 12.00 an hour isn’t going to give the most accurate information.
