You could extend the stack and slather the base of it with polish and pump it in and out so it spreads inside the shaft. Then smoke a cigarette in bed.

 

It's funny. Everyone was so worried about the hips and feet being the weak points. No one stopped to think, "Maybe the lower leg that's literally attached by one screw might be a concern?"

In other news. I got Gravestone installed. That wasn't the easiest thing to do while trying to maintain some semblance of the pose he was in. I laid him down flat on his chest to open up the sides of his body and get Gravestone in there. I made sure to avoid the weight of his legs resting on his lower legs so as not to put unnecessary stress on that joint. In the end I got him back together without incident and he's solid as a rock.



While it may be a variation of an A stance, and therefor be a bit boring. I don't really have the space for more dynamic poses, especially for something this big. So this stance suits my needs, and I have to say - He's just one Menacing SOB. I love him!

 

Just got invoiced by a3u for the trailer and accessories pack so looks like NA retailers should have them pretty soon!


Another Stunticon prepared for combining!

 

After so many posts about the trailer transformation being awful, am I the only one who's actually looking forward to getting it in hand and seeing how it is in person?   

 

Well, same here. I'm looking forward to combining them. It will be challenging, but I'm looking forward to the result.

 

Yeah we ll see how long this optimism lasts when you give it a go...

 

Still waiting to hear what the other big reviewers think. I'm concerned for EmGo's sanity with this one.

 

Last I heard, they had to put him into a straightjacket, while he muttered "ratchet joints", "base mode" and "the horror" through his clenched teeth.

 

I actually kind of think it’s nice how they’ve engineered Menasor to be hard, unstable, and broken from the start.

It’s a beautiful case of a physical manifestation of his personality

 

I don’t have it yet so I’m still okay!

FYI, I do enjoy transforming MP-36 and didn’t mind flipping all the XTB Stunticons to vehicle mode to in preparation for the trailer so I’m still optimistic... poor fool.

 

I have them in vehicle mode for some time now.

And MP36 and MP44 are in fact fun to transform, if you have done it a few times.

 

Yeah the cars weren't a problem. Making Monolith without breakage was a minor miracle on my part!

I'm still looking forwards to mine! Should land in the country soon. I've survived MP-5, FT Rouge and Badcube Wardog - how bad can it be?  

Actually I'm a bit concerned having read the suffering! I still plan to at least attempt my usual transform it without any instructions, but this time round I'm 99.99% sure I'll fail beforehand - that's never happened before! Just gotta be careful I only fail and give up and don't break it. Good to know there's a good video to follow when I give up.

 

Head in line with chest... I'll wait for XTB's go.

MMC has churned out some really lovely looking bots, but the scale of the combined mode is closer to chug. Hell, FT Phoenix is almost as tall on his own!

If they'd done those bots but used pants for height, they'd have easily killed the Bruticus MP game. Fair play for achievement in what they were aiming for though. The overall approach is still something to be applauded.

They should just replace the SAT with the "who can transform the trailer the fastest without instructions" test. Should count against your AP credits as well.
