Such a shame that the part of the Unicron trilogy to actually feature Unicron the most is the worst of the three. Armada's first half was awful sure but Energon is straight crap from start to finish lol

 

I remember enjoying Superlink when it came out. Haven't heard anything good about the US dub though.

I feel Cybertron was the worst of the three in terms of being entertaining.
I grew up with the trilogy but never liked Cybetron whatsoever, the designs and voice acting was just subpar compared to Armada and Energon.
It also didn't help the whole plot was literally
Oh no a black hole we need to stop it, let's get this key, oh no Decepticons took it.
Repeat that for the whole series for each planet key then the Primus Deus Ex Machina final two episodes.

 

God it has such beautiful 2D animation. if only it was just the 2D animation.

 

I enjoyed Cybertron much more than the other 2 from the get-go personally. For me, it was Cybertron's iteration of Starscream, the DBZ-like fights, the much better 3D animation than Energon, the epic music (at times), and Savage Claw Mode that stood out. And honestly I found the character designs appealing to look at too. Especially Optimus's Super Mode, Megatron and Starscream.

 

So has anybkdy heard anything about a for sure date on haslab unicron being shipped yet!?!?!?!?!? I NEED ANSWERS lol

 

not that i know of, but im sure once word gets out ab a shipment date or something, we'll all know pretty quickly lol

 

Idk I just never could get into it, I liked the story of Alpha Quintesson in Energon, his arc of being the last of his kind.
I will say though that Starscream in Armada is the best of the three, he wasn't some annoying usurper like he's usually depicted and actually had a change of heart at the end albeit dramatic.

 

That is the answer that alludes me.

Hook Line & Sinker are far from drones, they were Unicron's personal guard albeit very into fishing for some reason.

I'm getting really excited for this. I know we're a couple of months away, but I just got Combiner Wars Devastator in the mail. He's huge. And Unicron is going to be even bigger.

 

Unicron Is my most awaited figure this year and last year. I did my best to survive 2020 just for him.

My brother took me to see the movie and Unicron was by far my favorite new character. Hated seeing Prime go, tho.

 

I'm just glad to have secured one. It would have felt like a massive gaping wound in my TF collection. I have the G1 recolor of the Armada mold, which isn't bad, but yeah... This IS Unicron.

 

This is a true Unicron, the other can be a Vok illusion

Edit: to make it clear just incase, I am not talking about Studio Cell being the other, I mean the G1 Remold of Armada Unicron

 

This figure is actually what got me in TF. I've been a fan of Orson Welles for quite a while and was aware of his role, but didn't really give it much of a second chance until I caught wind of this figure. The PSG episode also helped peak my interest.

The funny thing is that I initially passed on him since I didn't want to fall into collecting until the original window had passed (a shelf warming POTP Skrapnel at the store I work at was my first figure). So I'm glad that BBTS had pre-orders reopen so I could get him.
