Yeah, HLJ is showing it as a February release now. Mildly disappointing, but in the end it's just a toy and it'll be out once it's done and done right.
Milestone just got back to me and they are sending me a replacement part. Nice to have support. I wasn't going to bother since it wasn't a really big issue but since that part is easily replaceable so why not? It came out of the box this way.

I have to say, the after sales support for CCSTOYS by Milestone is amazing. They shipped out the replacement part Tuesday and I received it today via DHL. Not only that but I only needed the wrist part and they sent me the entire arm.
Is there some trick I'm missing to getting the faceplates off or is something wrong with mine? Trying to push down doesn't do a damn thing. It feels like paint dried in a way that stuck the faceplate in place and there's no easy way to apply enough force to overcome that without using tools that would damage the face.
Nope, that's the way it is. Swapping the faces is a huge pain in the ass, especially considering how intuitive all the other accessories are. I had to remove the head and use a pair of tweezers. Had to risk scratching the paint but the fucker wouldn't budge.
