Maybe it's bad editing on e-Hobby's part and they're using the page for Soundwave as a template and forgot to take that part out? It just seems really strange to me to release Condor twice. Afterall, look at Japanese Classics Convoy page, the link you get when you click on his portrait is the same exact image, when it should be a full body shot (which is on their server - it's just their link is wrong).

Well, E-Hobby sells them. They don't just sell their exclusives.

That seems like a good guess. Would be really odd, otherwise. Also, the retail price is the same for Meister as for Ratchet and Ironhide. I'd have to think it'd be more if a Cassetticon were included.

If this release has a new head (Stepper/Ricochet), I'll buy it for sure. The chrome weapons are also a deal maker.

The other Encores didn't receive e-Hobby exclusives.

The line is less ambitious than TFC. The only reason why Ironhide and Ratchet have exclusive releases is a result of the film.

TFormers quotes Figure Oh! magazine stating that the "remolded" head will indeed be the Stepper reissue head rather than the degraded mold head (although TFormers manages to get the facts garbled again).

hopefully the various problems that mould had have been cleared up, there were improvements for the hasbro reissue (car roof fixed better) and then the reissue stepper toy had a new face too. i wonder if they have given him back his g1 feet, ie the silver tabs which were wider in the original mould. if there are significant improvements then i'm getting 2 of this, other
wise just 1 and in part for the awesome box.

its a great shame that reissue collection #1 meister was so weak, all the other reissues felt solid and just right, jazz just 'felt' of poorery quality when actually holding it.

    Yes.

The "goofy head" was a mold degradation that started with the G2 version, although with the reissues it was a lot worse than it had been on G2 Jazz.

Takara fixed the face for the Stepper reissue, and Hasbro used the same head for their Ricochet version, which came out at the same time as the Takara version.

I bought a TFC Soundwave #10 awhile back and Laserbeak seemed a bit off, so I compared him with my recently aquired Laserbeak Chinese Knock off and guess what? The knock off was of superior quality, so much so that it made the Takara Laserbeak look like it was the knockoff.

I'd rather buy knock offs if they are better quality, I have no love for Takara anymore with their shoddy workmanship and crappy remoldings.
