Man I was gonna grab the perfect version and sell my X limited edition version but no way I'm taking the chance now with TW out of commission. My X version is great with no breakages out of the box but the individual bots are very loosey goosey which is fine since I'm only displaying him in combined mode.

 

So here's a question.

How hard would it be to get a V1 Upgrade face and thighs? (Anyone got them for sale?)

I had an offer for $500 for a V1 but it ONLY had the mixmaster purple barrel. Then I've had another offer for $625 for a V2. IDK how "good" those prices are honestly? Thoughts?

 

The toon head or green thighs? Gold dust. Blood from stone. Needle in haystack. Etc.

I’m trying to sell my v1 head but the buyer wants me to check if the led works so I bought some batteries and opened the head but I don’t know how to put them in without damaging the internals. Has anyone who’s done it before tell me what to do?

Finally got all the bots sorted out and combined. Loving the final look.



Now I just have to decide which one for which mode. (I think I know which will be Dev)

Ok. 1000 pages. I'm lazy. I work a lot. My bots are probably like everyone else's . no direct sunlight. Moderate temperature room. Mild dusting from time to time. Pull out my v1 constructor last night. Apparently mine had generic tires instead of Goodyears. What the heck is this crap... Every damn tire on every bot with tires. Is there a transformers tire shop that I can get these replaced at? Walmart doesnt seem to carry this size...

UGH... I've had my V1 boxed up for a few years... Now I'm scared to unpack them. That is awful looking. Like bubbles just under the surface.

I'm kinda crude. My first thought was WTF?!?!? This is freaking horrible. Lol. My wife freak3d when I bought this one. So I only have one. Imagine her mind when I wanna get a replacement.lol. seriously ... where the hell do I get replacements.. Never. Gonna. Happen.

 

Man I’m having nothing but bad luck with this perfect set from tfsource. The dump truck and the combiner hips were broken right out of the box. Sent em back and just got them today but when I went to combine the bulldozer the hip fell apart in my hand. I reached out to them again for a replacement but I then decided to glue it together cause fuck man. I just want to enjoy this set. Total regret buy

 

Quick question, did yours come with the foam inserts or just the clear vac form trays?

 

Clear trays but it seems like the plastic is not as robust as well as the molds have deteriorated because I noticed that a mushroom peg was too big for the hip piece on one bot

 

I think previous "Perfect" sets came with foam, but the one I got had pretty cheap and brittle plastic trays. They are cutting costs where they can, I guess. The v2 I got to replace it had the proper foam packaging that feels a lot more premium and secure.

 

The perfect edition I got at first release came with the foam inserts ( no issues whatsoever ), wonder if the cheaper plastic trays have contributed to added damage in shipping.
