Not as good as the other two? Is he referring to the plastic quality or just the overall quality? Maybe smokey is lighter than the other 2 which could be a good thing, but I don't know.

 

I mean I can see how this might appear not as good as the others in terms of colouring. I think the paint it probably top notch, but the fact he’s all mustard yellow can make him appear flat and not a lot of variation.

but I think there’s enough there and he looks super unique with the two wheels on the shoulder, the exhaust chest. I don’t know. Looks great to me.

 

yeah it would be a really good thing if they made the arm bots lighter

I still don't get the desire for Dragstrip in particular to have two guns. First with XTB (where people went to sneaky lengths just to get a second gun) and now with this. I'm sure he only had one in the show, and same with his original G1 toy. If it's literally just a case of "two guns are cooler than one", then why don't people demand the same for every other transformer that's made? Why stop at two? Why not give him a random cannon coming out of his shoulder? Just never understood the Dragstrip needs two guns thing.

 

i think it looks good plus it's that extra bit of colour to an all yellow figure but personally i wouldn't go out my way to get a second gun even though i do like the look i didn't with xtb dragstrip he's still sporting the one gun

still no call to pay for this thing yet? they had a facebok post 2 weeks ago and i've not recived no email yet

 

I guess we won't know until we start getting ours, but I hope this is the case. Arm bots that weigh as much as spoiler and Magnum can't be good for the combined mode, but a mostly-plastic Smokey is going the feel "cheaper" than those two even if the plastic is fine.

 

im betting the plastic is a lower gauge too. the current three are already dumb heavy.

 

Then we are going to have to wait for a proper review or something
