Yeah, I wanted Hotlink, but I passed because it was at $60 for a long time. In fact, I just checked and it's still $60! The MSRP for the Netflix voyagers was $40 wasn't it?

 

Yeah, the MSRP for the Netflix Voyagers is $40. What's messed up is that it's clearly an issue with whoever runs their website as I've seen him lingering around recently while looking for the newer exclusives and he's still $40 in store. It's ridiculous.

 

Oh it's not by accident, Amazon does the same shit. They know what's going on and they know damn well what MSRP is. As long as they can get away with it they'll pull this kind of thing all day and night. Partially why I've stopped buying from Amazon for the most part and switched to hunting down figs on ebay.

 

The issue with voyagers being 40$ is likely a mistake while listing. They were probably looking at the Canadian MSRP -_-;

 

The Netflix Voyagers are supposed to be $40 in the US, because they come with 2 Micro/Battlemasters. Walmart's website has been pricing them higher than that.

 

Wife was out doing the weekly grocery run and found the first wave of the retro Headmasters. She said they only had these four.

Missouri. Northern part of the state, close to the Illinois border. They must have just gotten them in. We had checked there, yesterday, and there was nothing there.

I've seen these at 2 different Walmarts so far. They look pretty cool but I don't need to add them to my collection as I already have the originals. Now, if it can be confirmed that the upcoming Weirdwolf has been altered to fix the easy breakage, then I will definitely pick that one up.

I was crossing my fingers, hoping that these figures were hitting stores because a new English dub of Headmasters would be released. Obviously, that was just wishful thinking and wasn't likely to happen. But it still kind of stings a little bit when you realize the dream is over.

 

These look so good together. Hope to start adding some retros to my collection

 

Why on earth would you want the Headmasters to be dubbed in English?

 

1. English is the only language I know. 2. With my eyesight getting worse, I'd rather hear it in English than have to read English subtitles.

Meanwhile, happy for all who want/will get these, but I'm still feeling pretty negative about them. This just seems like you're paying a lot for retro-styled boxes. Maybe it's just because I picked the TR releases up the first time around, but this just comes off as too overtly nostalgia bait-y.

 

Paying the current price of a deluxe class in G1 style packaging is paying a lot?

 

I never got the originals because they had the Innsmouth IDW look, but these have the G1 heads from Takara.

From Ozformers, Retro Headmaster will be coming to Target Australia as a exclusive. First wave of Headmaster will be Chromedome, Hardhead, Brainstorm and Mindwipe will be out in early March 2021, while the rest will be release second half of the year.

 

I managed to grab these guys yesterday! Man, Hardhead's deco is amazing in person! Brainstorm and Chromedome are pretty cool as well and this is my first time seeing Mindwipe! Loving them all!
