Any recollection of roughly how many of each Headmaster? Trying to decide if it’s worth making the drive tomorrow.
Going to throw this out there tentatively: If leaks are correct and Amazon releases two-packs with a G1 and a BW guy each, is anyone interested in the G1 dudes but not the BW guys? I'd gladly work out an agreement to sell them at cost if we do a local pickup.
What rumors? I'm a sucker for G1 and don't care for BW...so maybe? It depends on what you are even talking about lol. EDIT: This? If so, yeah sure I'm in! Rumours Abound with Tarantulus, Earth Mode Mirage + Lambos, BW II Skywarp, Dinobots and More
There's a couple of leakers who claim there'll be at least two Amazon packs. 1. ER Sideswipe (so earth mode) w/ Kingdom Grimlock (from the Dinobot) 2. ER Mirage (earth mode) w/ Kingdom Skywarp (from Airazor)
I would also go in on this if anyone wanted the BW figures and not the G1 dudes. The only Beast Wars figures I ever had was the ones that appeared in the show...mostly the second season Transmetal ones actually. (RIP TM Megatron's waist)
I thought one of those leaks said "Earth Mode" mirage was just a repaint tho (Edit: Yeah it totally says that)
So, I’m heading to St. Paul next week for work. Any recommendations for good collectible/good toy shops I should check out?
Not sure about St. Paul but just south off 35E is Cedar Cliff Collectibles. They have a bunch of loose TFs bagged in bins. Beast Wars, RID, etc. plus some vintage and more current MOSC/MISB stuff. Prices aren’t bad. Owner says whatever pops into his head though. Be prepared for some weird conversations. There’s also two Hot Comics locations in the suburbs.
He recognizes his regulars, even if he doesn't know them. So if he's doing that odds are pretty good he counts you among them. Also, I'll throw in a good word for both Hot Comics. Both (relatively recently) moved to new locations. They've got lots of vintage stuff at fair prices. And are fun to chat with. I also think both stores have a few employees who are familiar with the boards, so it's one way to get to know each other while hangouts are a no-go. (Seriously though, once we're on the other side of this pandemic we gotta do a meet up)
