Yes!! I check brick seek every day for that Arcee!! Can’t wait

 

Anyone know a reliable site that shows their stock? It seems like most Walmarts are wiped and they are doing a half assed job restocking.

Kinda glad I got my pre-order way back when because that might end up being the only way to get them.

 

For me very few walmarts near me actually got them and at the ones that got them they shelfwarmed hard.

 

You know who would have made an excellent RED figure? Movie Shockwave. Y\'know, the character that never transformed? That way we could have just skipped his garbage Studio Series release.

 

But a RED Shockwave would just be smaller, a shittier sculpt, and have even more rubber bits.

 

Exactly, and I mean, other than having rubbery bits (which is a safety thing, so while annoying it’s completely understandable), was there anything wrong with SS Shockwave? Perfect size, proportions, sculpt, paint - I mean other than his vehicle mode, which is perfectly fine as he didn’t have one in the film, what more could been done better?

 

Yeah, but at least he might be able to stand upright and have a waist joint.

 

Hi, I own shockwave, and he stands just fine. If he doesn’t, that’s probably an issue with your copy of the figure. While he doesn’t have a waist joint, which, sure, is a little strange, he more than makes up for it by being a huge shelf presence. Also, judging by how much I’ve seen of R.E.D. so far, having a waist joint would mean shockwave would probably suffer in some other major way, like how Split Lip previously mentioned.

I mean seriously, outside of Arcee, all the figures suck, and I’m certain that my nostalgia for Prime is probably overlooking some of Arcee’s flaws as well. Each and every figure they have in their line up so far has a better transforming version (opinions vary on Cheetor but I think Netflix Cheetor is still better than this nonsense. I mean, they don’t even have the “oh it has to transform” excuse and it’s still bad. As for Coronation Screamer, he’s due to get a figure in SS86 if I’m not wrong, so even if that’s a straight repack of ER Starscream with extra bits it will still be better than this) I just hope Knockout is good, and I could care less about the rest of the line.

 

Implying SS Shockwave can't stand? Also, I'll trade a waist joint for an actual good sculpt and paint job any day.

 

Gonna bring this thread back up to say wave 2 has hit Cincinnati, Ohio. First sighting in Ohio that I am aware of, so slowly but surely, wave 2 is still making its way out.

 

Only seen RED Cheetor in stores. Really only holding out for that Arcee.

 

Okay, wasn't expecting to find her, but I stumbled across an Arcee today at Walmart in Federal Way (there were maybe 1-2 of her left?). And while I'm happy to have her, she's got some problems...

The Good:
- Looks pretty much like she stepped out of the Prime series with 0 kibble

The Bad:
- For whatever reason the blade effect parts are flat gray plastic. And they're even shown in the promotional pictures on the back of the box as being a translucent blue/purple. And it's not like she doesn't have a translucent part included, as she comes with a fairly sizeable dark energon cube.
- Whyfor hands that look like they're holding a gun with a separate trigger finger? She doesn't have any handheld guns...

The Ugly:
- For a line that claims to be quite heavily articulated, she's pretty limited. Toe-based rocker, arms and legs can't raise a full 90*, legs can't kick forward or back very far, knee bend is a little below 90*, little head articulation really other than the swivel... And being a character that would literally do high flying acrobatics regularly, it's a real disappointing sight.

 

Just found an Arcee, which I have wanted since she was revealed.

Unfortunately, she is by far the worst of the RED figures I own. For all of the flack that both Optimus and Megatron get, at least mine aren't floppy messes like the Arcee I got. Th main issue are knee joints, which are tiny and very limited in their range, 90 degrees if that. I'm having trouble getting her in any really cool poses, the poor articulation just doesnt give you much to work with. Very disappointed.

 

Mine was the exact same way. This was the one figure I was looking forward to most in the line too. I’m completely done with Transformers Red from here on out, the quality is abysmal compared to everything else Hasbro produces.

 

So I’ve had RED Arcee & Knockout for a while, but only just now reorganized my TF shelf & got them out of the box.

They look good, but damn that soft, rubbery plastic & those loose joints. It’s the same story as @Roufuss & @Electrorush

Still, I’m glad to have a MUCH better looking Knockout & Arcee on my shelf than their TFP toys. Still, if someone releases a version that fixes the issues, then they’re going back into storage.
