Incase it hasn’t been mentioned , you can remove the translucent smoke piece. It’s just secured by two screws from the back .

 

Went looking for some new bots and had to 86 the whole trip.

 

Just got my Hot Rod in the mail and opened it up; Some initial impressions....



NGl, this figure is exactly the ideal CHUG Hot Rod figure I've been wanting for a long time. Hot Rod here simply looks fantastic in robot mode; With good body proportions, good range of posability, alongside quite a nice set of accessories and built-in gimmicks... but the OOB joint tolerances on my copy was a bit all over the place, unfortunately; The butterfly joints and outward swivel on both shoulders are loose, while the thigh rotation, neck and front-back shoulder swivel joints are too tight.

All of this tolerance issues together, making posing and transforming my Hot Rod a bit of a chore for the first time TBH. I'm happy that I finally manage to get a hold of this figure, but I genuinely wish that I could be a lot happier with my OOB experience with this figure.



Maybe I would try to disassemble this figure for a bit later, just to see if it's possible to fix some of the joints for a smoother play experience.

 

Is that slingshot removable from Wheelie's hand?

I wanna give it to my Titans Return Wheelie if possible.

 

yes, but its a 3mm post and tr wheelie has 5mm hands

 

Ordered all of mine from PULSE, but scored a HOT ROD at the local Target, and OMG, he is so amazing. I cannot wait for the others, and I know I would have wept had I found JAZZ. I cannot wait.

I hope I get the invoice for my figures soon, can't wait to have them. But damn, I forgot that GB is leaving EU and most of my orders were made at Kapow. I hope shipping does not get too expensive. When I sold something myself on eBay, I got pretty fucked, sold it before Christmas, than temporarily you couldn't ship to GB. And when it worked again, shipping costs were higher, because GB now doesn't belong to EU anymore and seller paid less. The item was expensive enough that I just let it roll, because the buyer is not at fault. But it's my loss.

 

Really loving this new Scourge. It's perfect.

It is yes. It’s just an accessory, but the peg isn’t 5mm. I believe it’s 3mm. So Core class hands can hold it. You would have to beef up the handle a bit for TR Wheelie to hold it.
