    Hi all,

I just bit the bullet and paid a bit more than I'd have liked on the G2 Halloween issue. I think I may now have completed the entire Marvel US collection, but I'm posting here in case any of you know of any others that are missing.

    Here's what I've got:
    • Transformers #1-80
    • Headmasters #1-4
    • GI Joe vs. Transformers #1-4
    • GI Joe vs. Transformers (Trade paperback)
    • TF: The Movie #1-3
    • Transformers Universe #1-4
    • Transformers Universe (Trade paperback)
    • GI Joe & TF Generation 2 #138-142
    • TF Comics Magazine #1-10
    • TF Collected Comics #1-2
    • Marvel Age #17
    • Woman's Day Magazine - December 1985 (Transformers Save Christmas)
    • TF: Generation 2 #0-12

The first one I ever got was Headmasters #4. I think I've got them all after 30+ years, haha.

    Thanks for reading!

Jesus, even I don't have Ghosts! Or the Universe TPB. Those are two really, really rare items. Good job on having the Woman's Day issue.

What is Collected Comics? If those are UK comps, there are more than two.

I just looked on tfwiki. Marvel US only did two issues of collected comics apparently, while UK has over 20 of them.

Huh! Never seen those before (I have a few of the British ones).

The Marvel Age article is interesting as it refers to Auntie, as well as someone named Spin Out (which I guess must have been Cliffjumper) and Blow Out. It also really plays up Denny O'Neil's contributions (which were relatively minor beyond a couple of names) and barely mentions Uncle Bob.

The UK ones are tough to find. I have the majority of the UK comics as well, but I'm missing #9 and most of the collected comics.

There are also two digests for TF 7+8 and 9+10, if you’re also collecting reprints, and I believe a companion to your giant Shockwave covered one that reprints 1-4 but with the original cover to #1!

I am interested in reprints. Do you have any image links for these? I have the smaller reader's digest-sized books that cover TF 1-10. Are the two digests you mentioned similar to those?

I'm betting those are the ones you have then, actually! That is sweet! My copies are in another province but I'll canvas to make sure I can get you photos eventually. Might be a while tho, FYI.

The UK did a good number of collected comics series including crises of command and the Christmas stories.

There was also decepticon dam busters and the wrath of grimlock. I had a few I didn't get them all at the time.

That'd be awesome, thanks! No rush. I've been at this a long time, haha.

Excellent work, you've got some really valuable stuff here with a full US collection and so many collected miniseries-- particularly the obscure stuff! I can't fault you for not having all the UK issues though lol.

Collecting the UK issues outside of the UK is tricky business. Sometimes you can snag issues on the cheap and sometimes people want fifteen dollars for a single issue with eight pages of reprint.

I think I'll have that complete within a couple years. I have 1-332 (except #9) and the 4 Action Force issues. Just need about 15 of the collected comics. I don't have any of the "special gifts" but that's less of a big deal. It's like $3k to get the entire set with the gifts included.

DJ Convoy is spot-on about the pricing. Plus shipping from UK to US adds a lot to the cost also - tough to find a domestic seller.

Don't forget the issue of Doctor Who Weekly where Death's Head gets shrunk down. YOUR COLLECTION IS INCOMPLETE! :D

Heh. I think I will also not worry about the issue of Thor (or whatever) where Circuit Breaker shows up in one panel so Marvel could secure the rights to her character.

You have a wonderful collection there :)

Here’s a few pics of mine - Transformers Marvel UK Free Gift Gallery

I’ve been searching for that copy of Woman’s Day for years! If you ever find another copy I have plenty of stuff available for trade.

I certainly will. I got pretty lucky finding it.

My collection for Marvel US is done. Now I just need UK #9, and a handful of the Collected Comics for my UK collection. I have zero special gifts though for UK - not sure how plausible it would be to track all of those down, but I really enjoyed seeing all of them in your thread.

I’ve never heard of that Women’s Day issue! Crap, now I want it for my binding project, since page dimensions would be pretty close.
