I ordered one from them a week ago and im supposed to be getting him on Wednesday

 

Just got him delivered from online today. He was in stock a few days ago thats how I got him. He might get restocked again soon cause he was available yesterday.

I guess I should just be happy they sold him at MSRP instead of the usual markup...lol. I can wait until 2/1 since that’s they day I originally expected him anyway...but it’s mildly irritating...

Okay, so Gamestop is trending on Twitter right now for some reason. And assorted tweets is not always the easiest way to understand what the hell is going on. I think something about their stock suddenly having a weird jump up, and a freeze being put on trading? I hope everything is okay. I'd hate for them to go out of buisness and for a bunch more people to lose their jobs right now. I haven't seen them much, but the clerks in the local one have always been nice to me. Also I have Gigawatt on preorder from them.

 

Yeah... apparently some people on social media banded together to invest in Gamestop after a bunch of serious investors spent several months shorting the stock.
It doesn't have anything to actually do with Gamestop itself other than general stock manipulation practices from two separate groups/types of investors.
I think Gamestop should be okay as long as they find a way to adjust to the apparent shift towards more digital distribution than physical.

I've got some preorders with them too but one has been almost 6 months now for a figure that I've already picked up from Target. I'm just in it to see if they'll eventually cancel at this point.

Ordered Black Arachnia last Thursday, arrived today. Never got a shipping notice, but pretty darn happy about 6 day turnaround for shipping that was only $3.99, especially in this environment; Totally worth it to me!



Super impressed with this figure - so accurate, and beautifully colored.

 

It's not Gamestop that pumped their stock numbers - ponzi scheme by a lot of traders.
