I would be willing to pay like, $165 shipped, since that's what I paid for spoiler and Magnum. But at $250, you're just being a prick. X4 nonetheless...

 

Ditto, think that was about what I paid for Spoiler from aliexpress. Though gutted when I saw one of the uk sites was selling it for about £100 last year.. but of course it was all sold out   I get why some might want 2 if they display it in both modes but 4 just for resale is what will potentially make people quit collecting these things if it keeps on the way its going, sadly

 

Worst part is, people will buy it. Which keeps people like this existing.

 

I won't lie, I was forced to buy roadking @ $325 shipped, because that was the only price/seller that had it on ebay. They had 4 roadkings and were nice enough to send a business card with their facebook page for FT selling on it...

I'm just glad it's an amazing figure. Would have preferred much closer to $200, BUT, he's a fantastic work of art.

 

You'd have to be crazy impatient to go for that IMO. There's still the chance of a little extra retail stock, retail reups from the market, the inevitable 6-month re-run, etc. Still lots of chances to get your hands on a Smokey if you have just a bit of patience.

Damn dude, when did you pay that? I managed to pick up a roadking for $250 recently. Did you ask around on here for help finding one?

Also - worst case on your TFS preorder - couldn't you just pay for that other member to ship it to you? So give them the PO + $15 + pay the fee yourself or F&F it if you trust them via PayPal?

 

I inquired with baba about when Smokey is supposed to arrive, the reply was:

"The toy manufacturer said that the toy is about to arrive, but due to the pandemic, the journey will be delayed. Please rest assured that we will contact you by email when the goods arrive."

Still don't have a "final price" yet from them.

My floating preorder is from BBTS. The kind board member that reached out to me has 2 preordered from TFSource. So if he gets his 2 from TFS, I'll get his BBTS order.

Also, I messaged 2 people with Roadking for sale on here, but one of them never answered, and the other got back to me about a week after.

Stinks about Roadking. I've considered paying prices like that for a Quietus, but ultimately after seeing the springer shitshow this morning - I have a really good feeling about that Quietus re-release coming soon to compete with XTB! I'm hyped for that.

 

I mean, for what it's worth, I'm fortunate enough to have afforded that massive price tag for Road King. Would I do it again? Yeah, I'm kind of stupid...
