Hmm. Looks like the knife comes packed in the sheath. Good way to know that it actually fits.

Great work, had my hopes up thinking that was how retro Scarlett turned out but then I looked more and realized yours were customs. You made some good improvements.

Doubt it, Target had actually advertised Classified in their holiday gift book for $17.99 and were planning to have Classified back on shelf by November but in my area at least, that never happened. Maybe the same happened in other areas. I think this wave with repaints was the wave planned to have arrived in November but delayed.

TBH the Cobra Island figures will certainly get releases in the regular retail line. It's inconceivable that key characters will never see the light of day in the retail line especially when repainting the whole of Wave 1 is such a thing. If you didn't get Cobra Island Wave 1, you'll get them eventually as I highly doubt Hasbro is actually stupid when regarding this line. Mismanaged? Sure. Chronically mismanaged GI Joe for a long time. But stupid like making key characters exclusive only? Naw.

What it does mean is that there's that chance that either you might not ever get THAT particular CI deco again, or you're gonna be missing accessories. That's what burns me about the Cobra Infantry. Losing the goggles, armband, and long rifle and asking the same price from me is highway robbery...even though I've already pre-ordered. Whatever, I still think it's a goddamn rip.

It sucks that like, for Baroness, she's exactly the Baroness I'm sure people would want, colorwise. Given the splash art on the box, a regular retail Baroness is most likely going to have gold on her, unless that intent has changed, we won't know until we see her. Hopefully Beachhead comes sans beret, which honestly I won't miss. Not even the right color for Army Rangers anyways.

I honestly hope that if Firefly gets a re-release he comes sans EOD jacket. Keep the accessories but give him some matching camo web gear instead. EOD vest just feels so out of character for Firefly. As far as the wave 1 guys...I actually only ever got Scarlett so the recolors are a welcome chance to get the guys I missed out on.

Portland, Oregon here. Didn't see a damn thing about GI Joe since it's launch last year. Other locals were more lucky but after the launch and the Wave 1 stuff trickled in, I didn't see anything. Never saw any CI anywhere, and I was crossing into another state to hunt for GI Joe and CI also. Holiday 2020? No Classified anywhere in sight.

Yeah, I hope all of the Target exclusive figures get regular releases. Firefly without the bomb jacket, Baroness with her video game colors and Beachhead with his camo pants. The viper is fine as is.

FIGURE-122849.jpg A desert deco weapons set from a company called Dragon Horse. Looks good, some options for the rifles, should be useable for Joes.

Well crap. I thought that being from a different company they wouldn't be figma scale specifically.
AmiAmi won't let me cancel either.

    Eh, them's the breaks.

I learned the hard way - bought a different set off BBTS just for my Classified figs.

Walmart.com has an amazingly inconsistent way of shipping items. I had 6 retro figs on preorder since last summer/fall. (Roadblock x 2, Scarlett x2, and Destro x2) First figure in one of those boxes where two sides are indented to make it near impervious to crushing. 1 fig in perfect condition. Next is in a box they had to push the card into tightly, cause it didn't fit. Some minor creasing. Next two in boxes where they added some white triangle cardboard (for support?) and nothing else. But, figures looked creased up before they entered the unblemished boxes. And finally, a Roadblock in a bubble mailer with more creases and damage to the card than if I dragged it under a shopping cart for an hour. All shipped and received within 3 days of each other. what. the. hell?

I'm really liking that new Scarlett better. I still don't get why the arrows are under her arms though.

It's the way the quiver is designed, many quivers (including ones built into compound bows) hold the arrows upside down. You might think they would fall out but they actually clip in place in the quiver

Think about movement and body dynamics. You're using more muscles...and also space because you have to move your elbow up and around. There's similar concept with firearms magazines too called Inverted Draw.

    Tactical Optician’s Inverted Evolution

Faster, more effective draws on the move, minimizes the movement your arm does, and it's always easier to pull downwards thanks to gravity than upwards against it.

As someone into guns and gear it's easy to not realise how much little things can matter. How you mount your gear is just as important as what you wear. You have to think about what your body is doing and how your arms have to move around your gear and weapons and sling and straps.

It's why cave divers often wear their oxygen tanks on their chest rather than back. Easier access to valves and tubes, better control on the tank, easier to get that tank around right spaces, etc.

I'm still holding out for double elbow joints, as re-implemented with Lady Jaye. I realize there's little to no chance they will re-adopt double elbow joints, but I refuse to buy any female figure (in 1/12 scale or larger) that does not have them. If they did it with Lady Jaye, they need to continue to do it with every single other female after her. I was actually impressed they had double elbows there because of how often I am disappointed by Hasbro.

Maybe they’ll make a Scarlett in the future with single elbow joints that can move as far as double jointed elbows(as seen recently with Star Wars Black Series and a few Marvel Legends from last year).

I really love the first release of Scarlett. It's the reason I bought into the line.

I'm actually the same way. I don't mind the brighter, future colors myself. I don't dislike the more muted colors either. I missed out on everyone in Wave 1 besides Scarlett so I'll be getting these recolors. Don't mind of Scarlett stands out.
