Nevermind, the forgotten fourth Decepticon Headmaster. Was part of the original expedition to Nebulos with Scorponok, but got accidentally left behind when they returned to Cybertron. Has been hiding in the woods or something ever since. Can't remember what he transforms into, it's not really that important anyways.
A couple of dozen, although few have art. Interestingly, over the years and decades I've tended to go from larger, more extravagant, over-the-top-capability characters to more subdued, nuanced ones which are often just repaints or remolds. Most recently, one I've tentatively named Relay. A dull pearl-grey/blue remold of G1 Grapple/Inferno as a covered box-truck, Relay has the vital yet unglamorous job of shuttling energy from allied installations to the Autobots to allow them to continue functioning. Let's try a Budiansky-style profile: RELAY ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT FUNCTION: ENERGON TRANSPORT FIRST APPEARANCE: YOU'RE LOOKING AT IT "Stability underlies progress." Profile: Relay isn't the friendliest bot. Taciturn, asocial, prefers silence to conversation. Still, he gets the job done, and often faster than most, as he doesn't stop to chat along the way. An attention to detail, process, and procedure, and an seemingly inexhaustible capacity for performing the same task over and over makes him perfect for critical work that other 'bots might consider dull. As a result, he has outlasted every other Autobot at his job of collecting, converting, and retrieving fuel from external sources, and is the only one who has never requested a transfer to "something more interesting". Backs up internal repair teams and occasionally performs as a medical assistant between fuel runs. Often accesses records of pre-war Cybertron, but seems more focused on the mundane day-to-day lives and routines of peacetime than any historical knowledge. Periodically researches some process or procedure obsessively, and occasionally delivers reports on how it might be made more efficient, although his suggestions are not always implementable or feasible due to wartime pressures and uncertainties. Abilities: A set of onboard energy processing systems allow Relay to convert many types of energy directly into energon and store it in compressed form. He has recently been retrofitted with the ability to extrude stored energy as energon cubes, enabling unloading in a stable form when compatible storage systems are not available, although the process is comparatively slower. Able to travel over rough terrain to access energy sources. Has a knack for systems analysis, particularly when it comes to administrative or physical processes and procedures, and is often able to realize or suggest minor efficiencies - sometimes ones which, in retrospect, should have been obvious long before. Has stated that he is unable to experience loneliness, and has spent extended time periods out of social contact without apparent psychological deterioration. He has undertaken self-education in minor repair tasks and related knowledge, reasoning that it will enable him to perform more effectively as a medical assistant and repair worker. Is surprisingly knowledgeable in many scientific areas, although more in the theory than the practice. Weaknesses: Relay's focus on detail more than the larger picture can cause problems; he's been known to continue to work stoically on minor tasks through Decepticon attacks and serious ship malfunctions, stating that he had no orders to the contrary and limited relevant training or skills. Even when time-critical circumstances indicate that stubborn adherence to full process and procedure is contraindicated, Relay will tend to blindly follow checklists and administrative procedures rather than assume he is allowed to behave otherwise. His lack of social drive and conversational skills, and largely offsite workload, has resulted in few Autobots who consider him a close friend, or even (in many cases) know he exists. Can take longer than average to learn new tasks to acceptable levels of performance, often endlessly requesting processes or instructions for increasingly unlikely scenarios. Under observation for potential anxiety and depression, although symptom matches are erratic at best. Has acknowledged that he partially measures his own relative worthiness by how useful he is, and may become mildly agitated if unable to undertake 'useful' actions.
Rollbar (no not that one — or the other one — or those movie ones — or the short one — or the Romeo and Juliet law one) Destron resistance fighter of the first Machine War, Rollbar joined up with the “Combaticons,” a guerilla group determined to ignore the formal end of the war. Decades later, Rollbar finds himself a bot on the run from the crimes of his past life, and a wandering gun man for what ever cause he deems as just. Initially arriving on the planet over a century ago, Rollbar became well adjusted to life on Earth, considering it to be his new home. Rollbar’s modern Earth mode is a Jeep CJ7. He was left unconscious and mode-locked in this form following the Autobot exodus to earth.
Hydra strike. An 8 armed autobot who turns into... A hydra! His large figure is an imposing one, but don't let it fool you. He is a wise and friendly man, who specializes in the blade! Each of his hands wields a blade, and he teaches other members of the autobot clan how to wield the blade. (This is not a well thought out idea, not at all. It was a general concept that popped into my mind, and I thought it was cool). His color scheme would probably be like sea foam green, or maybe turquoise. I was thinking, since this is a part of my Samurai transformers idea, that his design would be based off of Yamata no Orochi. So along with his eight arms, he has eight tails. I was thinking these tails could be popping out of his back with like two vertical rows of them in robot mode. Also maybe the dragon heads could be on his wrists. They could turn into flamethrowers in robot mode as a way to attack from afar.
Before I got many actual Transformer toys, I made my own toy line and comic series out of paper. They were called "Changers." The good guy leader was Strongflight and could change into a jet. The bad guy leader was Cutter and he changed into a propeller plane. He died in issue 2 or 3 and was succeeded by Cannon Cutter who changed into a cannon. He was made with a clothes pin and spool. Their creator was an alien who created their metal planet and lived at its core, powering it. He created the changers by taking parts of himself off (he was kind of like Gumby) and using them as the Changers' brains.
My new mascot and self insert, haven't quite figured out a decent name other than Neo Edit: finally landed in Neo Booster as a final name, not sure if I wanna make him an Autobot, a Merc, or a Star Seeker.
(updated) Name: Saurok Allegiance: Decepticon / herald of an eldritch god Function: army general and strategist. Second in command of Starscream in the New Decepticon Order Personality: a mix of Grand Admiral Thrawn and the sadistic thinking of Ramsay Bolton Special abilities: can shoot lightning from his hands and is a mix of 2003 grievous, Jamey Lannister, Arthur dayne and aragorn in sword combat Alt mode Flagship: Tarn class heavy cruiser named The Chimera Note: he wears a 3 spiked crown helmet since he got blasted in the face by Megatron of another universe.
Huh, didn't know this thread existed. Anyways, I wrote a short 8-page comic script a while back, and have needed to draw the characters for that (as well as give them better names). Harpoonoid is still out in the cold, so to speak, because I've been hecking busy, but I do have the page for Silverfin, whom I've resisted calling Tunator for a long time now. Tuna can get really big, they're really fast, and they are exceptionally powerful. Although they don't have the same pull to them as sharks do (and we eat them a LOT), tuna are incredible beasts of the sea. So i used one as a basis for a marine biologist. Pacifistic, Maximal/Autobot end of the spectrum, and yes, a fembot. Pole-like limbs came about as an idea of using telescoping limbs as part of transformation, while the waist+leg designs came from an idea I had for a Moonracer design that used artificial cloth to cover the joints, resulting in a similar look. I've noticed that a lot of fembot designs in Transformers tend to have a 'swimsuit' idea behind them - that the stomach area, the arms, and the legs are a different color than the chest and the waist sections. If you make it into a human analogue, it more resembles something like a bikini or a bad superheroine costume. I tried to stay away from that with Silverfin, but I think my mind was too focused on the reason why swimsuit designs exist.
I have quite a few, but I'll just post these two, as I've had them the longest. Cracker Jack and Jaderider. Cracker Jack is an MH-60S Knighthawk as well as a sailor in the US Navy (long story) and is never seen without his coffee cup (it's also the location of his Autobot logo). Jaderider (in this pic) is a Subaru Baja (however I have recently updated his alt mode to another vehicle due to RL reasons) and is an interstellar DJ with his own club that sits in a pocket dimension, called Intergalactic 13. JR considers himself a good friend of CJ, but CJ mostly just tolerates JR's existence.
Admiral Pallorax Allegiance: decepticon Rank: admiral Alt mode: helicopter Flagship: The Shadow binder Pallorax is an admiral of the Decepticon Navy with his own fleet called the 7th Fleet or famously feared by Autobots, the Silencers. Personality: old but a cunning, brutal and cold calculating leader Bio: a military leader during the Golden Age, he always hated the council and it's way of acting. He joined Megatron's decepticons late in the war. He never saw action enough to earn a reputation but it changed during the Second Autobot-Decepticon war where his fleet destroyed Autobots in every engagement " when autobots see the symbol of my ship, they pray to Primus for mercy for they know, death has come" - Admiral Pallorax After Starscream died, command of the New Decepticon Order fell to Windblade. Though he respected Windblade as a warrior, he despised how she handled the army, thinking her reckless actions of self glory costed too many lives. After Windblade died in the Battle of Talos IV, he was the only high ranking leader left and signed the Pallorax-Kup treaty, ending the Second Autobot-Decepticon war Years later when the autobots and their alliance broke the treaty, declaring war on the Decepticons, Admiral Pallorax was surprised but soon counter struck. His capture of the Cambrien Lane was essential to stopping enemy supplies. He would die when an autobot strike time infiltrated his ship. " a captain goes down with his ship" His last words The book he wrote called ' Tactics to success' was what inspired GnashT, who would be called Megatron, to lead his army
(Please don’t judge i’m not good at customs) Name: leonizer Allegiance: mercenary/former autobot Stats: durability 7/ intelligence 16/ strength 18/ artillery 6 Age: 3 million years old Altmode: cybertronian car Status: alive Weapons: energon axe that turns into a sword and damaged flame pipes Origin: a no nonsense bot who in a mission accidentally shot and killed one of his troops, feeling disgusted and guilty he abandoned the autobots now the only way he makes a living is being a mercenary.
Got a few My main one is Hatch Hatch, an Autobot fighter who worked with sparkling/protoforms at a facility in Vos (yeah he was essentially a midwife/pediatrician, I have learned recently the term may be Blacksmith) before the war. He joined up with the Autobots after the destruction of the city. Though he signed up as a fighter, his time at the facility helped him become essentially a combat medic. He's partnered up with a former police officer in the canine flashdrive Wheaten and Wheaten's conjunx endura Nightbeat x7. His alt form is a med scrubs green Hyundai Santa Fe (from the Hello Carbot micro line, though the figure is currently still red). The rest of mine can be found here.
This is Scuttle. He's some edgy horseshoe crab Predacon bloke based on this weird dream I had of an old toy catalog containing BW figure listings. Subconscious probably got G1 Scourge and some of the Kingdom Fossilizers mixed up somehow.
Laff Track: The Joker amongst the Decepticons. Is 30 - 40 ft tall but folds into a cute little clown car nevertheless as a play on fitting an absurd amount of people in them.
While I don't have a definitive design for him in TF Prime, I can at the very least show you his vehicle mode, tell you his name and what faction he's on. His name is Chase Smite, he's a Decepticon looking to do some good after the war ended and wants to find his place in the universe. His vehicle mode is the Typhoon Frg4 Eurofighter jet and his primary and only weaponry is his blasters that morph out of both of his hands and his optic colour is red with white pupils
