As to the title... well. No reason to bite his head off.

I am in for a new Ultra Magnus.
I want one that preferably can shed his armor off to get a White Prime underneath, if possible.

 

I'd prefer an Ultra Magnus that looks like G1 Ultra Magnus in both modes in favor of having something that looks like a big stylized nothing because it's compromised by homaging a gimmick the G1 toy had that never happened in the cartoon.

 

Unfortunately. That would have made for some interesting storyline

 

Give me the synopsys of an interesting storyline that includes the armor gimmick. I dare you  

 

If a new Ultra Magnus did happen I would like it to have a white Prime body underneath.


Although considering the higher prices the ultra-toon figures are by TT and FT, and considering how much a grey box full of knickknacks increased MP-44's price, I shudder at what the price for that would be.

I mean...it looks fine, but it has the exact same problem as takara’s, it’s at least a centimeter too tall. If you’re going to do magnus, why not say “screw alt mode scale” and give us one that looks right in bot mode next to optimus?

 

Trying to stuff a white prime inside is probably going to make the other modes suffer. I'd prefer they skip doing that.

 

this photo look old as shit. and it evokes more of an xtb style to me, even tho it says ft.

 

Its got more issues than the mp. long skinny forearms, short stubby legs and an overly long torso

Have you seen toon magnus lately?



Only problems I can spot are the legs are a bit short and the shoulder pauldrons are a bit tall.

Edit: the torso could stand to be shortened a tad, and the chest shield is under detailed. That said, MP-22 has just as many proportional problems.

 

I'm very much in for a Magnus to replace MP22 but already this doesn't appear to be what I'm looking for.

Still far too tall in bot mode, proportions are a bit off, and if the truck mode pics that pilot00 posted are the same figure then it doesn't look like it's based on MP44s truck mode.

Will wait to see more I guess. XTB are teasing a Magnus also, so maybe it will be the next 3P war.

 

I want an Ultra Magnus that is one unit, with a unified transformation not a guy in a suit of armor
