Relatively new line of 1/24 robots with modular armor/accessories: Creative Field, A New Mech Maker from China! - HobbyLink.tv
I have the Oni Flame and Type 5 versions pre-ordered. They look fun enough to give it a go, plus they're relatively cheap.
Type 3 is available for preorder on Amazon for fairly cheap, but the release date keeps getting pushed back (was originally scheduled to ship Nov 4th): https://www.amazon.com/Sen-Ti-Nel-Industry-Sentinel-ScaleModel-SEN67573/dp/B08BLHVQXD Type 5 is also on Amazon for the same price, but doesn't come out until March of next year: https://www.amazon.com/Battle-Armored-Puppet-Sentinel-Scale/dp/B08LPHF533/
FYI, Amazon finally has the Type 3 in stock and started shipping them out, and the price has now gone up to $34.99 (!!!). The preorder for the Oni Flame is still at $15, that's scheduled to arrive in January. Oni Flame is also $34.99, and the release date has been moved up from January to December 18th. Type 5 is not currently available for preorder.
Amazon has the Ryuen kit up for preorder at $16 apiece, for release on May 15th: https://www.amazon.com/Ryuen-Armored-Puppet-Sen-Ti-Nel-Scale/dp/B08R9RPN1G
Two new Armored Puppets coming down the pike, the Industry Type 9, and a new female core body. Both are available for preorder at BBTS for $19.99 +s&h apiece: Number 57 Armored Puppet Industry Type.9 1/24 Scale Model Kit Number 57 Armored Puppet Female Core Body 1/24 Scale Model Kit
I picked up the industrial type 3 from bbts, I was surprised to find that it has an extra set of equipment in clear. The orange looks better than the clear, but hey extra stuff!
Industry Type 9 is now up for preorder at Amazon for $16, with a release date of July 15: https://www.amazon.com/Sen-Ti-Nel-Industry-Type-9-Armored-Puppet/dp/B08T6HF82W/
whats the build quality like on these? only kits ive build before really were kotobukiya stuff, but they fell apart a lot and were quite fragile in places.
They're actually pretty good, despite their small stature. The basic frame is solid and amazingly poseable, the add-on armor parts look and fit great.. well worth grabbing!
The two I have are...okay. The armor is meant to be removable and swappable, but tends to fall off when posing. The skeleton is decent, but nothing really locks into place. The bicep swivels on mine like to come off when turned.
These are neat! Ordered a couple from Amazon to try out. Gonna try adding some highlights to the skeleton and paint up the exterior armor.
Industry Type 9. Figured I'd show the skeleton as well as the accessories. This still has the issue with the bicep swivel popping out, specifically on the right side, but the armor bits aren't as easy to dislodge. Overall, I like it better than the other two. Next up will be the female type if BBTS ever gets them in.
Also, one of the coolest parts of these sets is that they come with modular scenery. This is just what I got from the three I have. Need. More.
I just got the Maid kit in today from Aliexpress. It was cheap enough that I ordered three, so I could display one each of the build options. I just built the base so far, but I really like how poseable it is and just the right size to interact with my Iron Factory TFs. It came with a bonus set of translucent white parts and a green hair part.
I wish it came with two sets of ankle armor. I’d get the bare bot and have a 2nd armored. I like that the diaclone ports are about the same size.
Gonna try to breathe some life into this thread, surprised there isn’t more hype around this series. It kind of has something for everyone and a ton of releases in the pipeline. Their first female frame + armor: 微博-出错了 A modular display case with LED lighting: 微博 Frogs in exosuits: 微博 Sharks in exosuits (with a “marine mode?”): 微博 And my personal favorite, a motorcycle that transforms into a fully articulated wolf with zero partsforming: 微博
I pre-ordered four of the frogs. I'll definitely need one shark. Those robo-wolves are outstanding! I'll need half a dozen at least.
I've got 3 of the robot dudes so far and enjoy the bare skeleton more than the armored-up, mostly. Still trying to figure how to use them with 18th humans. The froggies are very anticipated. They should be great, imho.
