Hey everyone, this is my first thread here an i hope you like it. I took the great work of Snaku and made my own version of Arcee with the "tutorial" in his Thread. I am looking at all the great Arcees out there, but i can´t let my "Alcee" go. I put much work on it and i really love this figure, even it is not perfect. Here is my work so far:
And then the Hands. i created a negative form from the Gun, so i made one of resin and modified it that she can hold it in her new hand .
Much work still to do on my Arcee. Waiting on my colours for the complete paintjob and i am not so happy with the Head, still waiting for a good head to print.
Yeah she can still transform. I just took her Hands and feets off, and there is a little problem with this thing in the middle of the cockpit - take a look at the pics. It won´t fit in there exactly. I could cut it out but, hey at the moment i can live with it
Looking good. Makes me almost want to pick mine up again, though I think I'd want to start over on the waist - not really happy with where mine was at when I left it. Ultimately, though, there are so many Arcee figures now that I just don't feel as inspired to work on her. Looking forward to seeing how yours progresses, though.
The waist is my Problem, i have no really idea how to fix it. Maybe i let it how it is... btw, i love your solution of the waist, but somehow i was unable to do that .
It looks pretty good the way you've got it, but yeah, a kind of over/under to cover the seam would help. I like the design I came up with for mine but I was never happy with the actual sculpt. I accidentally lengthened her waist, and I messed up on the little button details (or whatever you call that panel in her belly) and had to sculpt my own by hand that just didn't look as good. If I were going to try it again now, I'd probably design and 3d print it rather than sculpt it by hand.
Finaly here is an update: I just did the Paintjob and design the heads. At this time i think i will make another one and give her the red sunglass . So this is still wip. Hope to finish her this week
Looking good. Btw, I didn't mention it last time I was in this thread but I freaking LOVE the gundam feet! If I were ever to get back to my Alcee, I'd definitely steal that idea.
