Fair, but I'd prefer it if both companies would release figures that can be part of the same collection instead of having to constantly choose between the two. We could have gotten so many more characters last year if MS and NA hadn't felt the need to match each other's newest releases. It saved me a lot of money, in the end, but it feels like we're getting options at the expense of variety.

Haha. Well played. I have to say, some of the new Hasbro stuff is really darn good. Fun transformations, better articulation, and way better sculpts. Gotta wonder where 3P would be if they would have figured this out years ago (glad they didn't though).

Seeing more pics of this guy and I love the cleaner bot mode over NA. NA seems to be going the Takara/FT route here with a lot of moving pieces. I'm sure it will be as fun as their seekers to transform but the chest area looks like a mess. Still...buying both!

 

I look at the positive side of that.
It seems to me the more these two companies evolve and establish their own vision, the less their figures mix and blend together in the same collection/display. As their lineups grow bigger, I can also see more collectors deciding to go one way or another, pretty much exclusively. In this context, I'm glad my maker of choice can offer the same characters of their competior, allowing me to build up a more cohesive collection.

 

I prefer a better altmode than adjustable height me thinks....

Magnus Armor too and maybe an NA Optimus. Plus the expensive NA Galvatrons

 

I'm very lost with Magnus Armor, nobody knows if they're gonna re-release the White Prime and it's pretty hard to find it at a normal price.

If MST is clever, will make a 2nd run. Then I will buy asap White Prime and Armor.  

 

they will drop white prime again. that is a given if you are on the fence about that dont be.

 

Soooooo.... I really like MST and I've been more or less exclusively going with them for my Legends figures but wtf is up with their car designs? Why are they so damned boxy? I want to like this guy but the more I look at that alt mode, yeesh.

(of course there's a but) Magic Square may actually be looking or have looked at the VW Beetle's supposed design inspiration. they may be paying homage to the Tatra V570

 

I think they just wanted a boxier chest for robot mode, to fit the design aesthetic of their bots. Plus, we can't yet see what all needs to fit in there for alt mode yet, which could also contribute to the shape.

Not trying to make excuses, just saying.

 

Yeah, I could see that; instead of NA's fake chest just sacrificing the appearance of the Beetle for a cartoon accurate robot mode.

 

I like my flipper just fine. But hey guys, psssst, I’ll buy any Mirage or Hound figure, any at all, first come gets more sales than second third or fourth so yknow, maybe try doing those guys instead of figures everyone already has an iteration of and so you you squint at every detail to see if it’s worth a thirty quid upgrade.

looking at the pics, I think NA Bee would kill MS Bee in a gun fight, since MS Bee would be reminiscing about his boyfriend Spike and smiling a perpetual smile while NA Bee draws his gun and takes care of business in order to lead the Autobots during the absence of Prime.

 

I don't know why the people needs to make them fight. The both brands are just gorgeous. If only they where at the same scale...

 

Guess @Phase Sixer's joke was about imagining them literally wild-West-duel, and MST HappyBee perish with a big smile on his face, without even knowing what was going on. XD
