That's true for the toy deco one on top. For the, I believe, clear version on bottom, the whole box is straight up Robocop.

 

Was getting more of an action pose vibe since he looks like he is kneeling forward. Though it would be cool if they did a pose like that... "Your move Decepticreep!"

Because all I see is Robocop in a blister package, whilst the Datsuns are boxed.
Not even mentioning the totally different art style (wich is literally a copy of the g1 classic box)

 

The photos are two posts apart? You don’t see that they’re similar? The logo made of two silver triangles (and which uses the exact same fonts)? The red section with the ‘vanishing point’ grid pattern?

I've said this before, but I still can't decide if I want to switch out Barricade's standard badge with one of the golden DJD ones.

 

i like what they've done with EX, especially the transparent windows. but not sure it's enough to pay full pop for it as i'd be doubling up. maybe if i find it on sale or something.  

 

Slight nitpick, but I hate the gap between the ‘H’ and the ‘W’ on his right foot. They got it right on the car doors, but not his foot?! That’s gonna bug me, I can tell.

While I’m here, what’s with the “hhh” in the thread title? Is is just me, or does it seem like the OP was really excited by the prospect of this figure? It’s a ‘sex noise’, yes?

I think the “HHH” is because prowl was H3. Like maybe it was a translation error where it was read as 3H’s hence HHH

I actually saw Hot Hot Heat live in Bristol, back in ‘03. They were supported by Fiery Furnaces and (a pre-fame) Franz Ferdinand, in what’s probably the most alliterative concert line-up I’ve ever experienced.

Gah, I miss live music so much.

 

Harry EX arrived yesterday from Show Z. He’s great. Everything is tighter and more refined with each release of this mold. This one may be my favorite of the Datsuns released thus far, but I’ve always been very partial to blue Bluestreak.

 

More appropriate, I think. Somehow.
